which does entail noise (nobody parties as hard as Georgians, with smoking and alcohol and dancing as if it was 1993), but I didn't experience much. I was here for two booked nights but actually much less, after a tough flight and vicious immigration, and before another flight, booked here by the organizers of a conference. I thought the room much bigger and nicer than expected, and yes it's overdesigned but also bordering on cool. As is the young helpful staff which indeed seems like an intern army, and it cost me some time to deal with them, but they're nice and it's something. Better aircon, a working frig/minibar, and things like that would be great. Breakfast was crowded and loud - I mean, I'd just like to have a coffee and a roll or something, am I reaching for the stars here? :-) And the weird situation in a quasi-pedestrial cul de sac makes it tough for Bolt cars to find, for pickup or dropoff - and this can be solved by hotels. Oh well, what am I saying here? In the end I loved the rest period in the comfy bed, and so four stars it must be.
