Super 8 The Pas

Stayed here for a hockey tournament. Definitely a top choice for the pas. No issues. Pool was good and breakfast was fine. Everything was clean and staff were polite. Rate was a bit high but that's normal when they are selling out and wasn't absurd l.

We were in town for a Jr A hockey game and I really wasn’t sure where to stay, but after looking on line, I called and booked Andersen Inn & Suites. I was emailed my confirmation. If we ever come back, this is 100% where I’d stay again. The hotel is clean, the parking lot is well lit up and we felt safe. The breakfast was basic: toast, muffins, yogurt, cereal, boiled eggs and some fruit options, but sufficient. The coffee was good (and strong) and the gentleman at the front desk even made us a fresh pot, so we could fill our travel mugs, for the hockey game. The staff are courteous and helpful and like I said, everything is really clean. I would definitely stay here again if the need arose.

I thought this was a great place to stay, very clean, and quiet all the staff were great to deal with lots of parking easy to find your way around the pas because you are right off the main hwy. I'm going back to work in the pas for three weeks and will defiantly be staying there again very nice place you won't be disappointed that is for sure.

This review is in two parts -- the first covers the reservation and check-in process; the second, the lodging experience. I made this reservation for August in late May. Andersen I&S does not have an internet reservation capability, so you have to call the property to make one. I would be traveling with my cousin who I enjoy being with, but with whom I have no interest in sharing a bed, so made sure I reserved a double room with two beds. After we checked in and took our luggage to the room we were assigned, I saw only one bed, so went back to the front desk to request a room change since I'd booked a double room. The clerk said she couldn't make a change because they were fully booked, and we could use the pull-out sofa as the second bed. We would be charged the same rate--a double room. Since the reservation was made over the phone, there was no specific paperwork available to me. The desk clerk didn't express any regret or concern about this problem. The property is very convenient if you are coming from the south. There is a good restaurant very close by. As to the lodging, except for the uncomfortable sofabed, everything else was OK. The breakfast had the variety and quality you might expect. Based on my experience, I think I'd look for somewhere else in The Pas if I ever visited again.
