It’s a modernized historic building integrated with burnished aged-fashion-design admixture here and there. The lobby floor extends its wing to a spacious restaurant with semi-transparent chalky glass ceiling through which natural light casted from the above and a cozy Japanese eatery. A few steps out of its facade is a thoroughfare alongside beautiful river; wherefrom you see high Shangri-La signage across the river. Service is fine, nothing to complain about, neither things so impressive.

The accommodation at Radisson Hotel Tianjin Aqua city met all the standards. The staff were friendly and spoke English. They made our stay as comfortable as possible. The rooms were always clean and service was great. The location was really good you were able to access Aqua city mall via the hotel at the restaurant level. There was also L+ mall across the road. The subway was 100m away and getting around the city was easy. The only think I could fault them on was that I booked a room with the street view at the top level and instead I got the top level with no street view. However the stay was great.

Nice hotel. The location was good, with nice buildings around. Plenty of facilities like the swim pool, spa, the gym, etc. The rooms were clean and comfy. Would visit there again. I really enjoyed the pool it was the perfect temperature and you could watch a tv show while you are on the treadmill in the gym. Overall we had a lovely stay here. The location is great, and the rooms and reception area were beautifully decorated. The pool and gym were amazing (best hotel gym I've ever seen!), and never very busy. Staff were friendly and polite. And there was never a queue for the lifts. There were a few ******* which I'll list below for other people who appreciate these types of details, but they were by no means deal breakers. ******* included: - we always had a long wait at reception to be served - the deposit is large (almost the price of the stay again) - no plugs on one side of the bed so you can't charge your phone next to you - the minibar wasn't very cold - no takeout delivery to rooms (usually this is done by robot) - beds are very soft which might give some people backache - our toilet cistern kept running (we fixed it ourselves every time) - the shower leaked - the blinds over the windows are all or nothing, there are no curtains that you can just pull over part of the window - the swimming pool is very shallow at just 1.2 metres with no deep end - this made swimming difficult for both of us as we're on the taller side - you must sign a declaration before every swim/workout (I think once per customer would be enough!) and wear a swimming cap in the pool (the hotel sells them).

In my view, Ritz Tianjin is the branch with the highest service level. ( i visited Singapore, Kuala Lumpur, Beijing financial street and Beijing Huamao centre so far) 1. 3 days before arrival - The branch called me to confirm the number of visitors (couple + 7 month old); and the purpose of visit (wedding anniversary) 2. Upon arrival - We were greeted by friendly staffs whom helped us with our 3 luggages and they did it with a smile 3 Miss Freya Luo lead us to the check in and was explaining the restaurants and facilities of the branch 4. During stay, our garbage and room was cleaned up no less than 2 times a day (we only stayed 2 days) 5. Miss Freya, also helped us to arrange parcels (mainly infant diapers and napkins) to be sent to the hotel 6. The exterior of the hotel resembles a castle and its truly special The hotel is merely a room; the service provided by each of the staffs here makes this experience truly memorable Thanks again Freya!

Due to a sudden trip to Beijing, I had the pleasure of enjoying a weekend staycation at the Four Seasons Tianjin once again. This time, I opted for a new package on Ctrip, which proved to be delightful. The room was immaculate, the facilities were well-organized, and the food was delicious. Moreover, the warm and gracious hospitality was consistent throughout my stay. I would like to extend my heartfelt thanks to Selina from the Front Desk and Sunny & Coco from the Executive Club. Had the most wonderful stay at a hotel at Pan Pacific Tianjin in recent years, largely thanks to the warm hospitality of all front desk staff who were warm, welcoming and very helpful. I had a headache and as a foreigner, could not order painkillers via delivery and Leila from the front desk was really nice to help me out with it. Upon check out, the front desk staff were also all friendly and sweet (I forgot her name). I accidentally left my outerwear behind and the concierge was really helpful to help me retrieve and send it to my friend's hotel for me. It was a solo trip and witnessing such warmth and kindness overseas really made my trip memorable and I would like to thank all the staff! :) Location is perfect, just across the street from the river, and about a 10-15 minute walk from Tianjin Eye. Room is spacious and clean too. Only small room for improvement is if the ventilation can be better as there was a bit of smoke smell for a non-smoking room. But overall, Pan Pac Tianjin is a hotel I'll return to stay if I ever visit Tianjin again.
