Hotels near Former Residence of Yong Jianqiu, Tianjin

The lady at the front desk I met when I checked in was very nice, enthusiastic and attentive. Living here is convenient for shopping on Fifth Avenue, and there is a backyard for parking, which is very convenient. You don't have to worry about having nowhere to park a large car that can't get out of the basement. I hope more attention can be paid to hygiene, especially around the sink, toilet and window sill. There is Chenji Guoba dish for breakfast nearby, but the taste is average, mainly because the dining environment and sanitary conditions are relatively poor; Just next to the hotel is the Goubuli VIP Building; within a 15-minute walk, you can find gelato and Zhao Dagujin dishes (recommended, they are very delicious and the portions are large. The service guy looks fierce, but his attitude is... They are very nice and polite) etc. There are many restaurants and small shops that you can visit. It is recommended to go to the Haihe River to enjoy the breeze in the evening, which is a different feeling.

The location is very good, just upstairs in the International Trade Center, downstairs is the Xiaobailou subway station. It is very close to the Fifth Avenue and Tai'an Road. The room is large, the whole is very new and very clean. The real scene and the photo are in line with the high degree. The fly in the ointment is that parking is 🤣🤣 China World Trade Center basement 6 yuan/hour, downstairs roadside 8 yuan/hour during the day, 4 yuan/night at night. It takes more than 100 to park a day.

Room is clean, but always had problems with the door not closing properly and beeping. The location is very good, just a 5mins walk from the metro and the hotel is right on the edge of the five avenues which is handy for a nice afternoon strolling the streets. The breakfast is okay, a good variety, but some things (like the corn) taste like they have been sitting there a long time, even at 7am.

The apartment is in a good location, with convenient transportation, very close to the subway station, spacious room, quiet sleep, and comfortable bed! Personally, I feel that the only shortcoming is that the floor-standing clothes hanger is too close to the bathroom door, almost right next to it, which makes it inconvenient to enter and exit the bathroom. I stumbled several times. It is recommended to move the clothes hanger or the single sofa next to it!

The room is very nice and clean. The facilities are well maintained. It is considered a very good Ritz-Carlton in China. The service is a little lacking. I have stayed in Ritz-Carlton in Japan and Guangzhou. The service is very considerate. There is no reception after arriving at the hotel. You have to carry your luggage by yourself. The next day, I wanted to have afternoon tea in the hotel lobby, but there was no priority seat reserved for guests staying in the hotel. The attitude of the short-haired service girl in the lobby lounge was also very bad. It was a hot day in Tianjin at noon, and she asked me if there was a seat outside? Why didn't you sit outside? ? The good mood of the check-in was completely ruined by this waiter.

It was a very good experience, and I even upgraded the room type for free. The room is super big, very clean, and the location is very good. It is very convenient to go everywhere. When you get out of the subway, there is still a lot of fireworks. There are so many people who like Tianjin, and they will choose to live here next time. The two ladies who checked in and checked out are super nice~

It's hard to describe in a few words. There are many things that need to be improved. There are too many shabby places and facilities. The basement is disgustingly ugly. Many places in the room have not been repaired. It's dirty and messy. It's really disappointing. The good memories of Indigo are gone forever. What a pity.

The Shangri-La, Tianjin, is, and has always been our favorite Hotel to visit. This week was a special celebration for us, as we celebrated our 15th Wedding anniversary, as well as our 4th consecutive year in China. We relocated to another City / Province, about two years ago, and was unable to visit and enjoy our special Shangri-La. Prior to us moving from Tianjin, we used to celebrate all our special occasions and milestones, at this branch of Shangri-La. We would always spend our Christmas, New Years, and Chinese New Year's at Shangri-La. Now that we have returned to Heibei, we look forward to continuing this tradition. Things change over time, some familiar faces are no longer working there. However, the new team made us feel right at home again, and went out of their way to make our stay most memorable and special. As I mentioned to one of the team members, it's not the spectacular Lobby Lounge, nor the beautifully decorated features, that make the establishment, but rather the people. Without quality staff and superior service, no establishment can ever rely on reoccurring business. For as long as these values are in place, this Shangri-La can be certain of our patronage. All team members provided excellent service, from the bellhop, to the waitresses, from the front of house to the housekeeping and of course the management team. Special thanks to ”Francis”, the new General Manager, ”Danny”, the Food and Beverage Director, as well as ”Billy”, the ”Food and Beverage” Manager. This trio of Management, ensured that we received the best service possible. Lastly, we would like to thank ”Roger” whom assisted us with a Driver / Transportation, upon our early departure. No visit to Tianjin, would ever truly be complete, with visiting The Shangri-La. See you soon.
