I was a bit shocked when the taxi arrived to the hotel. The area is mostly industrial/older residential buildings and businesses. This means that food and shopping options were limited. The themed style of the hotel was nice. The room was basic with a tv that doesn’t broadcast foreign or local channels. The breakfast was meager at best. The options were mostly local, with a few pastry and bread options. More detail should be given to service. For example, offering forks, knives and spoons should be a standard practice. One of the employees was nice enough to offer WeChat as a means of communicating when necessary, due to the language barrier. This was a welcomed and well-used option. Overall, the hotel experience was a bit lower than what I am used to, but would be a good fit someone who wants basic amenities and a fairly low price.

房間很乾凈沒有異味，通風很好，浴巾很乾凈，酒店退房不用查節省了很多時間，很方便，還有免費停車位，房間窗户很大光線很好，無線跟電視也很好用，房間裝潢的簡單現代很舒適，大堂很敞亮，網絡給力，浴室噴頭水很足很大，水温也很穩，值得推薦！

This price is OK, not extravagant. The only point: Because it is very close to the outer ring line, the big cars passing by at night will have a lot of noise, but staying on the other side of the hotel should be fine.

This is my second trip to Tianjin. The most satisfying thing about this trip is finding this hotel. The location is very good, the transportation is very convenient, and it is very close to various attractions. The lady at the front desk of the hotel is very enthusiastic and can introduce the attractions to you. When I entered the room, I really felt that the price/performance ratio was very high. The room is fully intelligent, and you can close the curtains and turn on the lights by voice. There are also robots and the room is very clean. It’s really a good deal to stay in such a good room at this price. Highly recommended.

My son and I stayed for 1 night and was extremely pleased with the hotel. We had a beautiful view and the room was comfortable and relaxing after a long day of play. The location was fantastic as it was less than 10min walk from the TianJin Eye. Fast food was accessible as KFC and an 7/11 was right around the corner. We will definitely stay here again next time we visit TianJin and highly recommend this hotel to travelers of all types.

The Shangri-La, Tianjin, is, and has always been our favorite Hotel to visit. This week was a special celebration for us, as we celebrated our 15th Wedding anniversary, as well as our 4th consecutive year in China. We relocated to another City / Province, about two years ago, and was unable to visit and enjoy our special Shangri-La. Prior to us moving from Tianjin, we used to celebrate all our special occasions and milestones, at this branch of Shangri-La. We would always spend our Christmas, New Years, and Chinese New Year's at Shangri-La. Now that we have returned to Heibei, we look forward to continuing this tradition. Things change over time, some familiar faces are no longer working there. However, the new team made us feel right at home again, and went out of their way to make our stay most memorable and special. As I mentioned to one of the team members, it's not the spectacular Lobby Lounge, nor the beautifully decorated features, that make the establishment, but rather the people. Without quality staff and superior service, no establishment can ever rely on reoccurring business. For as long as these values are in place, this Shangri-La can be certain of our patronage. All team members provided excellent service, from the bellhop, to the waitresses, from the front of house to the housekeeping and of course the management team. Special thanks to ”Francis”, the new General Manager, ”Danny”, the Food and Beverage Director, as well as ”Billy”, the ”Food and Beverage” Manager. This trio of Management, ensured that we received the best service possible. Lastly, we would like to thank ”Roger” whom assisted us with a Driver / Transportation, upon our early departure. No visit to Tianjin, would ever truly be complete, with visiting The Shangri-La. See you soon.

Drive to Tianjin to spend the Mid-Autumn Festival🌕 The hotel itself has a unique decoration, a great location, a great atmosphere in the room, a warm service staff, and a decent view from the small balcony. The breakfast variety is limited, but it's acceptable. But there's one thing: there aren't many charging piles in the hotel's underground parking lot, and two or three of them are broken, as shown in Figure 9. Guests who need charging piles should contact the hotel in advance to see if they can reserve one, otherwise they may not be able to charge... Overall, it's quite pleasant.

The air conditioner is powerful. Although it is on a high floor, the water pressure is sufficient and the shower water is large and hot. However, there is no anti-slip mat or floor towel in the bathroom, so it will be a bit slippery after taking a shower. The room size is OK, the bedding is comfortable and soft. I have to complain about the curtains, which are relatively thin and cannot block light. There is light leakage on both sides. I thought I slept until noon, but it was only six in the morning. . .
