Capsule Inn Otsuka Reviews

This was my first stay in a capsule hostel. There are many folks in the same room but in your capsule you feel private. The hostel also has a free Sauna which is nice. I was the only foreigner so it's not social. I recommend to stay for one night if you want to experience the japanese sauna, but not for many days.

Conveniently located capsule hotel with good amenities and service.

The location is really good. The staff are also friendly. The downside is that you have to check out at 10 o'clock every day. This is not a good option for those who come in late or stay up late. Accommodation for short-term guests. There is a pork cutlet restaurant right in front, so make sure to go there.

The transportation is convenient, there are various shops around, the capsule is very good to get used to, much cheaper than ordinary hotels, suitable for single men, sometimes there will be snoring around, don't mind too much.

It was my first time staying here 😉 It was quite difficult to get up to the bed on the second floor, so next time I'll try the first floor 😉 The atmosphere at the reception was also nice 😉

The lobby is on the fourth floor, and there are capsule rooms on separate floors for men and women. The men's bathroom is on the eighth floor. There is a lounge after taking a shower. You can usually stay in the lounge until you go to bed and then go back to the capsule room. The lounge has a refrigerator, microwave, and water dispenser, which can meet the needs of those who travel alone.

There are a lot of rules, which I don't quite understand, but I checked in successfully. However, the front desk asked me to pay extra when I checked in, saying that I booked a female room... It's a bit ridiculous. I'm afraid I won't choose this hotel next time I go to Tokyo.

It was really nice to have a sauna. And it was right next to Otsuka Station, so it was easily accessible. If you are looking for value for money, there is no place like this.

Hotels in Tokyo are expensive, so I used them when I went alone, but it was nice. It was nice that guests could use the public bath. It is convenient to use the Yamanote Line as it is located at Otsuka Station, a limited stop from Ikebukuro Station.
