Tosei Hotel Cocone Asakusa Kuramae Reviews

Hotel room is pretty new and very clean! Bed is very comfortable too! If u need extra pillows can request too as well! I was on a solo trip and the bed can sleep 2 actually. They also have a public bath onsen whereby you can experience and use as well! Coffee/tea is at the lobby instead of in your own room. They have ice maker as well! Location is pretty convenient when coming from airport and navigating around. Convenience stalls are nearby too! Overall nice place to stay at for my 6 nights in tokyo!

Enviroment is quite good and clean, also the staffs are so nice, the hotel located in asakusa and there are a few metro stations in that area and it’s a high accessibility location!

Is a decent size of hotel room more for solo traveler, clean room/sheet, equip with mist machine, reception area has coffee/tea machine, washer n vending machine, good size convenient store opposite the hotel, if you don’t mind 6-9 stop away from centre Tokyo station, is nice hotel to stay, just 2min away from station. Cheers

Booked this hotel as we wanted to stay in a more traditional room. It was near Kuramae Station which had so many exits. 😀 It was a quiet area which had 3 to 4 convenience stores However it was also walking distance to Asakusa.

My second stay in this hotel, really love this hotel, not only the location but friendly staff and especially the hot bath, near to metro station and very convenient to go to both Haneda & narita airport too

The hotel is fantastic, location is extremely convenient, less than 1 minutes walk from metro station, 711, Lawson, sukiya, family mart, McDonald's are all nearby the hotel, just need 10 minutes walk can arrive Asakusa temple. Hotel is tidy, good in hygiene, super comfortable bed, staffs are nice as well. Will definitely stay again and recommend it to my friends.

A bit far from JR station but very close to Metro station Clean room and Helpful staff Have large bath for relaxing time

Hotel was near Kuramae station on the Oedo-line, and a short walk from the Asakusa-line, it has 3 convenience stores (Lawson, Family Mart and 7-Eleven) for that late night snack or last min shopping, and even Sukiya (Gyudon), Mcdonalds and Yayoi (Teishoku Set Meals), is it so convenient to enter and exit, and the corridors are very clean and quiet, soundproofing for the rooms are perfect, and the toilets are very hygienic and fully stocked (they clean it everyday around 10am). The front desk was very helpful with keeping my luggage until my flight, and they provide complimentary bath salts for your daily use (1 pack a day), the room I was in even had a purifier/humidifier, wifi was very strong, and the beds were paired with the most comfy pillow (medium hardness pillows). I will definitely recommend Tosei Hotel for its close proximity to Tokyo Skytree, many nice onsens, and Teamlabs Tokyo, Kuramae station also has direct access to Haneda Airport,its perfect.

A very nice hotel, great location - metro station and convenience stores are nearby, good service - staff is helpful when the snow hit Tokyo, I stayed for one more night and the rate was reasonable, the hotel is perfect for solo travellers. Will book it again when I solo travel next time!

Location was great, but you must be familiar with Metro lines and Metro lines have a lot of stairs....beware for those with luggages. Convenient stores just next to hotel, great amenities and breakfast shops around, cheap and good, especially the Japanese shop next to MacDonalds. Rooms are clean. Onsen is small but ok, good to use. No more than 3 at a time please.... Service - the day we arrived, we had a guy that is always looking unhappy. Even with our passports from Singapore, he treated us with detest. He was definitely not happy to serve foreigners and after taking down all our passports and particulars, he turned to say, sorry you cannot check in now - like 20 mins later. So I am not sure why he needs our passports. Then some local Japanese guests came, he was all bright and smiling to them. Weird behavior. When we returned at night to check in, we were asked for our passports again and waited another 20 mins. When asked why in the morning the guy had to see our passports, the other guy said he does not know and understand why it is needed. So it is confirmed that morning guy just trying to be funny. Met him again when we returned from Matsumoto 3 days later, the same **** from him. I know some Japanese are not happy to have too many tourist in Japan now, but this is not the way to treat your foreign guests.

The location was great overall

Location needed to transfer to go Asakusa and vice vice. However it's near train station and just to know how to take oedo line to Asakusa line. Breakfast is same menu fixed.

Kuramae station is right opposite the hotel although it's the furthest exit. Service was great. Room was ok. Just enough space to open up half a luggage. My room view was of the back alleys so nothing much. Lots of amenities. Mineral water provided. Great coffee machine and ice maker. Laundry provided as well. Public bath is available. I love the textured ceiling in my room! Lovely stay though I wished rooms were bigger.

Great location, a nearby station easy to get in and out of the city. The staff was terrific, they went over and beyond to help make our stay enjoyable, I had a wonderful experience at the Tosei Hotel Cocone Asakusa Kuramae Every staff member I encountered, from the valet to the check- in to the cleaning staff was delightful and eager to help! Thank you! I will recommend it to my colleague and family. The hotel is well-maintained. I have stayed at dozen of hotels in Tokyo. This was one of the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever.
