Sotetsu Fresa Inn Higashi Shinjuku Reviews

Very convenient location as it is just besides the B2 exit of higashi shinjuku station. It is easy to get around to sibhuya station, roponggi , asakusa all within half hour of travelling time. There are also plenty of options to find food nearby the hotel. Room is rather small though, you can't open 2 lugagges inside the room.

The interior quite old, but anything else is good

The hotel location is next to the Higashi shinjuku metrol station.

Location of the hotel was convenient as it is right next to a train station and there is also a nearby bus stop to get to our planned tourist locations. The space of the room is quite tight as expected in Tokyo and the room is quite dim even with all the lights switched on. Overall cleanliness is good and service of staff is great too.

Very bad reception, bad attitude, bad professionalism. In particular, a Japanese girl and a Chinese foreman ***, from the moment I entered the shop, I realized that they treated people from different countries differently. When they saw Europeans and Americans, they ran enthusiastically and then pretended to be blind to Chinese people. European and American people operate the machine they will take the initiative to ask to help operate, the Chinese to operate no one, even if I take the initiative to call them, even if they are very empty, no work to do, but also reluctant to come over, and then a few words to send. In the afternoon, we were the first guests to arrive at the check-in, when we were waiting in the lobby before the check-in time. And soon to three o 'clock reception began to take the initiative to help the arrival of Europeans and Americans lately to check in, we repeatedly asked if we can also handle, they give us the answer that the room did not clean well, finally at three fifteen before saying that in fact, they said they can help us change a price to stay in a clean room. By this time the lobby was empty of customers. I have reason to suspect a deliberate failure to follow the queue to give me the final processing. After I raised my question, the Japanese trainee girl and *** did not apologize, but coldly and forcefully said that we just had to wait. The experience was terrible.

Rooms are very clean, but also quite dated. Good location and easy check in and check out.

The place of stay was excellent! Nearby Higashi Shinjuku Station was only 60m away. Convenient to travel in the subway to Shinjuku main station minutes away. Many convenience stores like 7/11 and Lawson was very close by and never closed. Using the You Trip master card was a breeze!. Even managed to draw cash Yen without any extra bank fees from the 7 bank. Really enjoyed our stay in Japan and this hotel was a great saving in costs and time!

It was my 1st time checking into this hotel. I stumble into this hotel because there was good review. So when I came into this hotel, I was pleasantly happy with what I am expected. The counter lady spoke English asking me if I want to check in early at 2pm instead of 3pm and she arranged my registration quickly. The process took less then 5 mins and I was already in the room at 2.05pm. ( Extra 1000Yen for early book in ) The room space was sufficient for myself since I extended my business trip for another 2 days. The beds and toiletries were presently nicely and there was even a clock by my bedside for a quick check on the time. I got the highest floor at Level 12 and it was a good view from the top. The TV programme consist of only Japanese channels. No English programmed at all. After my 2 days and 1 night stay, the checkout process was quick. With just a press of a button to acknowledge my checkout, I return the card access into a feeding slot and that is all required. Overall, the stay was pleasant, the toiletries was more then sufficient and I would like to come back again to book this hotel and bring my wife for a short holiday.

The staff was amazing and very supportive. They were always there to help you in case you needed anything.

Next to a Metro station, providing all the daily amenities u need, close to variety stores and supermarkets

Great hotel, and great location. Convenient and close to restaurants, as well as a train station, and a bus stop which goes right into the heart of Shinjuku.
