Hotel Villa Fontaine Tokyo-Kudanshita Reviews

Location. Within 8 mins walk to 3 stations, Kudanshita, Jimbocho, Suidobashi. Walk to Ochanomizu Street for musical instruments needs. Lots of small eateries around place, but not open on weekends, as catering to office and uni only. Almost a dead place over weekend. Hotel. Rather old as compared to others. Size of room is OK. Bed and pillows are hard but acceptable. Breakfast not appealing, that's why didn't buy. Have coin operated laundry, room amenities etc at ground level. Service. Generally OK. Assigned a room 404, staying for 4 nights. Strange way to assign? And room just beside their large neon board. So it's bright even at night! Means room not dark for sleep. Generally if not doing any business around there, can choose somewhere else at similar price. It's Near to kudanshita garden and ueno akihabara etc.

Location: 5-8 min walk to Jimbocho Station for the Hanzomon Line, Mita Line and Shinjuku Line. It's super easy to get anywhere in Tokyo. Including Shinjuku areas. The location is a business district so it's clean, modern, quiet and safe. You can walk to the Imperial Palace and Tokyo Dome and there are several supermarkets and restaurants on the same street as the hotel. So its a really good location and even though its not in the heart of the Shinjuku area its easily accessible and the savings you get because of it makes it worthwhile Hotel Room Big. I was worried because room sizes in Japan are listed as 16sqM or 18sqM or even 11SqM and I'm used to 20 -60sqM in Europe and other parts of Asia. But the room size here is fine. Not cramped and with a big bathroom. There is a USB plug socket in the middle of the bed (they provide charging cables). The AC was quiet and useful as was the fridge (no freezer) The room is very clean and tidy every day with fresh towels and sheets changed every 3 days Hotel Features There is a laundry room for guests, a vending machine, a microwave, an ice machine - so many features. We did not have breakfast at the hotel, we felt for 990 Yen per person per day, its better just to go to the 7-11 next door and buy stuff Overall The location is good. Safe, clean and with food nearby. The room is clean and bigger than expected. Would stay here again especially considering the price

It’s more close to the Jimbocho station (remember to exit via A2 to get to the hotel in 4 mins!) Pretty convenient with a 711 right across the hotel. I wish there could be housekeeping everyday instead of every 2 days. Cheerful staff and swift check-in/ check-out process. Pretty good value for solo travellers and couples. One thing to complain is the TV that only offers paid TV programmes and movies and the outdated air conditioner.

love the location!! its walking distance to the subway station and there is quite alot of food in the streets. the room is comfy and good wifi! :) will be back here for my next japan trip!!

Hotel was in good location and train station was about 5 min away. Room was clean and in decent size for 2 ppl and amenities was good

Hotel was good size compared to other hotels and opposite has 7-11 and family mart which is very useful. Metro is couple minutes walk away. Would recommend and stay again.

The room was small and just enough room for 2 people. Most importantly the room was clean. The front desk customer service are very polite and helpful. I didn't get their breakfast so can't comment on that. There's a 7-eleve right next door, it's quite big with lots of snacks and food. The hotel is about 5-8mins walk to the train station. Lots of restaurants nearby. Very enjoyable stay.

It was a nine minute walk from the metro. Other than that, we had a great stay.

This hotel is among one of the best in class and in this price range that we have experienced in Tokyo. Location is excellent, within 7 minutes walk of jimbocho metro station which connects to Shinjuku in 10 minutes ! There is a 7-11 convenience store right across the street from the hotel. Rooms are very good sized for a hotel in city Centre, well connected with Roppongi and Kudanshita. Room has all essential amenities and more. There is a desk and chair for business travelers who have to work from their room and attend meetings. Bathroom is very clean and modern. Check in progress was easy though everything was in Japanese language. Staff was courteous and helped us in every possible way.

I always book this hotel to stay when I am in Dallas. Great service
