Hotel Sardonyx Ueno Reviews

The location is super good! The hotel is only 7 walking minutes to Ueno park, 5 walking minutes to skyliner station, just 2 mins to the famous Ameyokocho which you can eat anything you want, buy souvenir you want, finally you can also find a branch of almost any popular Japanese branded goods.

A space for me to come back to rest. There was a day where the air con had some issues and I woke up sweaty even though I was wearing light clothing. The level was a smoking room as they did not have non smoking rooms available. The moment the lift opened, the smell was just present in the whole walkway to my room.

Good hotel. Very convenient. Near train stations and lots of eateries and shops nearby.

The facilities are a bit old. Cleanliness is not perfect but acceptable. overall not a bad choice with the price.

Pro : - Good location near ueno station - hot dog in breakfast is great - bed is ok and warm blanket - have television , air purifier - hot buth tub Con : - Small size room 》》 When open2 large lugguage that you can't walk or open the door - no free water

Great location

The stay was very average, below expectation as we stayed in a few 3 star hotels in Tokyo already. Room was not cleaned properly. Very dirty and dusty. Breakfast was very average too, not much choices - all bread options only.

Location is great and is a 5 minutes walk from the station. There are lots of food and the shopping street is just around the corner. Highly recommend!

Staffs were great and very helpful. Location is perfect. Direct Skyliner stop from Narita to Keisei Ueno which is 6 minutes walk to hotel. Lots of food options around hotel. Walking distance to Akihabara.
