The price is reasonable for unmanned hotel. I’m not sure what happen for this keypad. It doesn’t work for my room. That means I have to use the key from this key box by using password to unlock it. Also, the automatic door lock doesn’t work. I have to use key for lock the room when I left every time. It’s very inconvenience when you carry many things and have to take off the cover under keypad for getting key in. Also, there is black stain on the bathroom’s curtain that make me feel this room is not clean enough.

So stupid, I came to check in as one guest, they request the 2nd guest information, I made a dummy one, didn’t go through. I called for help, the guy deleted the full information one and asked again all my information, hanged twice. The whole process was very frustrating, I called again connected with an English speaker gave me the check in information. Thinking you drag a large luggage sweaty and stuck in the check in while all you wanted is a rest! STAY AWAY THIS HOTEL FOR YOUR SAKE!

Clean hotel near Asakusa. Book this about 2 months before our trip and got it at a great price. Seen several negative reviews...so was not sure if I have got the right choice 😉. Just need to be sure that the access code is received a day before your stay. Will require a bit of time to check in as there's no reception like a regular hotel. Once you are done, contact the customer service and room number will be given. Witnessed a few travellers facing problems checking in. Glad we had a smooth check in.

I stayed at this hotel as it is near asakusa. I was planning to take the train to Nikko. Note: There is a car rental just near the hotel. Can rent the car to drive to Nikko. I liked my room as the view out the window looks at the sky tree. I could see the illumination every night. The room is the row right outside the lift. The bathroom and the toilet are separate. That is good. You can have a good soak in large size bathtub I thought the room was small. But I moved to my friends hotel in Roppongi APA. That was even smaller. Hope the hotel can have a vending machine to sell coffee capsules for the coffee maker in the room.

Quite messy when doing check in prosess

just like normal airbnb. the room is quite small but the process of check in is smooth unlike other’s experience

The room is good. Checking in by a video call to the staff. It is very convenient!

It was a great and comfy room! Self check-in & check-out convenient. But due to me booking via trip.com, wasn’t able to receive email directly from the hotel for my reservation number and the passcode to the door. The operator that help us through out our process of checking-in is very helpful with regard to giving me the reservation number for my booking and so on. It is very close to the station, and also walking distance to asakusa

After we checked in , my girlfriend and I were chilling in the room and suddenly another couple unlocked the door of our room and came in. Apparently the hotel assigned us and the couple same room. We had a trouble like this but other than that, it was worth staying.

This is a business hotel so expect that the room is small but it is complete with all the things you need. The self check-in might be a challenge but if you are used to Japan's self check in services, this is really convenient.

The location was amazing! Right by Sumida River Walk, so very easy to get around. Checking in was a little tricky, but a video call helped that. I gave a four for service just because there wasn’t anyone at the hotel. One day in my fridge stopped working. Other than that, which wasn’t that big of a deal for me, it was great.

Good stay at Rakuten Stay Asakusa , location is just 10min walk to tokyo sky tree , walking distance use under train and river side is just a good photo shooting spot . Walk 4 min is family mart and underground cafe. Hotel room is clean , bed is very comfortable and very happy to sleep with many Panda sticker on the wall . Cofee machine is provided and small mini fridge. Amenities and panda characters souvenir i get .🥰 Thanks you for the good stay .🥰

This place is very convinent, walking distance to nearby convinent store and 24 hour beef bowl. The train station is also nearby. Downside is that there is only 1 room cleaning during our 7 days stay. No other way to dispose our rubbish and no fresh towel. The check in is done through a tablet which removed face to face interaction with the staff but the booking number they emailed me doesn't have any record in their database. Alot of people were stranded outside, trying to figure out how to enter or check in. Quite a tedious process for check in and the staff have no idea on the room amenities. We couldn't switch on the fridge as the control was not near it and it had a cover over it which makes it look like a fire alarm. It took 2 days for the staff to find out how to turn on the fridge. Apart from the location, we was disappointed with this place. Not a great stay
