The front desk staff is kind and speaks Chinese. The room is a bit larger than the average Japanese hotel room, but the location is 5-10 minutes away from the subway station and there are convenience stores nearby.

I stayed in this hotel during my recent trip to Japan with my wife. The hotel is located in a strategic position, about 900 meters from the JR Ueno station (about 10 minutes on foot) and a few hundred meters from the metro station. The rooms are not too large, in true Japanese style, but the cleanliness is good, plus ours overlooked the Skytree. The room is well equipped, we had a mini fridge and also air conditioning. Flaws were the check-in which starts too late (from 4.00 pm, before that time only available for a fee with a supplement of 1000 yen for each hour early; in light of the 90 euros per night paid for a double room I think that from this point of view they could have avoided the supplement... in any case we were "forced" to wait until 4pm) and, as anticipated, the price per night was quite high (90 euros for one night in a double room).
