Hotel was easy accessible from Shinjuku station through an underpass. There’s a video from hotel website that shows how to get to hotel using the underpass. There are eateries/restaurants/Lawson/familymart in the hotel. Lobby looks nice and grand. However the room and toilet are kind of old fashioned. Luckily it was still quite clean. The laundry machine for washing and drying were separate. After wash you have to go and manually transferred to dryer :( and you can’t monitor the washing status through tv. 2 other hotels we stayed b4 have this service. The rooms and facilities needed an upgrade. Will not come back again.

the hotel is located in a cozy area, in between stations of 2 subway lines, with cafe, pubs and restaurants nearby. everything in this hotel is ‘just enough’ - the size of the room and bathtub isn’t big but just enough, the hot spring area has just the right amount of space to shower and dry the hair, the room doesn’t come with complimentary water but there’s tea and detox water in the lobby. however the fridge in the room turns off itself and overnight food storage is an issue. service is wonderful nevertheless.

Overall another great hotel. The bed was large and comfortable. Like the other LiveMax hotel the staff were extremely friendly. On the first floor they had a sauna and a convenient and relaxing smoking room. The room was clean and modern looking. The space was a bit small but overall a good place to stay.

I found myself immersed in the vibrant a**osphere and surrounded by countless dining, shopping, and entertainment options. The staff at Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu are deserving of special mention. From the warm welcome at check-in to the attentive service throughout my stay, they went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. They were always available to answer any questions, provide recommendations, and assist with any requests I had. Their professionalism and genuine friendliness truly made me feel like a valued guest. The room I stayed in was elegantly decorated and impeccably clean. The comfortable bed, along with the well-appointed amenities, made for a restful and enjoyable stay. The service attitude is very good, but there are only 2-3 people checking in and checking out, which is not enough. There will be a lot of queues. Although there will be helpful receptionists to ask for reservation information in advance, it will still take a long time. The advantage of the lobby is that it is on a high floor. The privacy is good. There is a dedicated elevator to get to the guest room, but the disadvantage is that you need to go to the elevator every time you go out/come back. Compared with the accommodation experience eleven years ago, the facilities feel obviously outdated. Breakfast is not a buffet but an a la carte menu. I don’t know how often it changes, but it is the same for two consecutive days. Although there are many ways to prepare eggs, the appetizers, salads and fruits are the same. It may be a bit boring if you eat it for two more days. Freshly baked bread will be served. Come here and let me choose, but they are all shortening and French tart, which are quite greasy. Several kinds of homemade yogurt are good. The puddings are all sweet. When I ordered on the first day, I ordered pancake as the main dish, which was relatively normal. The waffle that came with the second day was also shortened. The chocolate after housekeeping is delicious. There are two kinds of dark chocolate and milk chocolate. The hotel’s chocolate lobby restaurant also sells it. It's not too far away from Roppongi Tower. It's about 1.00km or 10.20 minutes walk. You can see the night view of Tokyo Tower from a distance.

Excellent location in Shinjuku, right opposite the Tokyo Metropolitan Building, where you can go up to the observatories for free and get great views. The hotel itself is quite old now but it’s been refurbished. Lots of rooms so it’s quite busy, but there are staff everywhere to help you. Good value if you can book early enough and get a decent rate.

Since it is located in the middle of the downtown area of Akasaka, the surroundings are a little miscellaneous at night, and check-in with children is a place where you can feel at ease. The building is in a group of multi-tenant buildings, and the exterior is confusing as a fashion hotel if it is only the appearance. When you enter the building, you will recognize that it is a very ordinary hotel with the smile of the gentle male staff. As the name of the residence suggests, the rooms are well equipped with facilities like residences, so I thought it was suitable for long-term stays. The toilet is also wide 々, and the bathroom has a high-function shower although there is no bathtub. The lighting switches in the room were distributed in various places, so it was a little troublesome when turning off the lights.

Location: Near to Shinagawa Station which link to most of the place you will visit as a tourist. Cleanliness: the room is clean, not feeling any uncomfortable. Service: We reached the hotel around 1pm, although the check in time is 3pm, the reception staff willing to help us to check in earlier without our request which surprise us. Facilities: we do not have time to try their facilities, but in room facilities is well maintained. View: I forgot which floor we stayed, but the view is awesome, before we checked out we can see the Mt. Fuji which is superb.

The morning set meal at Shimizu was very good. However, on the day we arrived, our luggage was mistakenly taken to my sister's room, who came with us, and we were not able to get it moved. I wish the bellboys would think a little more about this. The rooms are clean and the wooden decorations in the lobby are a must-see! Close to Shinagawa station, so there are plenty of restaurants and pubs to eat at. The bar Asama is also very relaxing and the french fries were delicious.
