Meine Erfahrung mit dem Casas da Vila in Trancoso war mehr als enttäuschend. Das Hotel hat mich bei der Buchung bewusst in die Irre geführt, da die „non-refundable“-Bedingung in keiner Weise klar und transparent kommuniziert wurde. Erst nach Abschluss der Buchung wurde ich mit dieser Einschränkung konfrontiert. Als ich das Hotel kontaktierte, um den offensichtlichen Fehler zu klären, wurde ich eiskalt abgewiesen – keinerlei Entgegenkommen, keinerlei Verständnis. Für ein Hotel, das sich im Luxussegment bewegt, ist ein derartiges Verhalten schlicht untragbar. Es scheint, als sei man hier eher darauf aus, den Gästen das Geld durch fragwürdige Buchungspraktiken aus der Tasche zu ziehen, statt ein faires und kundenorientiertes Erlebnis zu bieten. Ich rate dringend davon ab, hier zu buchen, es sei denn, man möchte sich später mit intransparenten Bedingungen und einem unkooperativen Management herumschlagen. Schade um den Ruf eines ansonsten charmanten Orts wie Trancoso!
