Troyes Hotels with Bars

I visited in December 2023 as a stopover on the wag to the Alps, and it was good for 1 night. The staff are pleasant, and the rooms were moderately clean. There is a double bed, a sofa bed (much more comfy than expected), a coffee machine with capsules, teabags, milk, sugar, a safe, and an ensuite. There was not much luggage space though, and so I wouldn't recommend coming here with lots of luggage. In some rooms there's a balcony, and the air conditioning/heating is good. There is a boulangerie (recommended) and a food store next door. There's also a pizza restaurant next door. The hotel is a 5 to 10 minute walk to the town centre, which I highly recommend going to in the evenings.

We have just arrived and just wow! For the price we weren’t expecting much but I’m so happy I had to review it immediately. We have two rooms, one for the 2 older boys and a room for us with our younger daughter. She has her own room in an adjoining space (she has been busy laying it all out) and the boys even have a balcony! Super comfy beds, working air con, working mini bar (with an ice cold bottle of water already in it). The two ladies at reception were brilliant despite our ashamedly limited French. The decor is suitably dated, fitting for such a gorgeous old building and is well looked after. The mix of new and old being aesthetically pleasing. The location is incredible. Right in the centre so easy distance to walk for dinner. Such a shame we are only passing through, I would happily stay much longer

When booking, I saw that 5-year-olds were free, but I still had some opinions when I arrived at the front desk of the store. After communicating, I checked in smoothly. I also added an extra bed for free, fearing that a family of three would not be enough to live. The room is large in size, and the corridor environment is average and has a strange smell. Parking is just opposite the hotel and there is free parking. There is a steak shop and a pizzeria next to the hotel, which tastes good. The church in Troyes is worth a visit.

An excellent modern style hotel. Extremely helpful and friendly staff. Room was very comfortable with modern style wardrobes offering plenty of storage. Car park is directly opposite the reception, easy to get to, and when we were there had ample, secure parking. Breakfast was buffet style, but had everything we wanted. All this for a very reasonable price too. From a practical viewpoint the hotel is only around 10 minutes walk from the town centre. They even supply a walking map to tour the old town, which we found extremely helpful.

The hotel is in the center of an ancient French town. The warm and romantic old buildings are great! Will live next time!

This hotel is located just a 5-minute walk from Troyes city centre, a few steps from the train station. The Troyes cultural centre, Espace Argence, is 400 metres away. The hotel offers soundproofed rooms with free Wi-Fi access and private bathrooms. The Hotel has a lounge with a fireplace and there is public parking just opposite the hotel. The Troyes Exhibition Park is a 5-minute drive away.

We only stayed one night whilst travelling & wished to stay in the centre of Troyes so this Hotel was ideal. Prompt service on arrival to take our luggage ( maybe a little too prompt perhaps ) & to show us to our room . Very welcoming on arrival . We were a little taken a back to see our car was whisked away to secure Car Parking very quickly ( 25euro a night) It meant that if you needed anything from your car after this time you had to be accompanied to the Car Park by a staff member - but I guess it was secure. Our room was smart , but seemed the furthest away from the Lift as it could be ……. Large comfortable bed & a swish bathroom , however the very dark tiling I felt made the bathroom rather depressing & the lighting was quite poor. Plenty of storage though & a great coffee machine . We did not have breakfast as we left promptly in the morning & I believe a restaurant is planned for the future. Overall , a very comfortable stay .

Located in the historic centre of Troyes the Maison de Rhodes is centred around an ancient garden. The restoration of this former property of the Knights of Malta was entrusted to the Compagnons du Devoir which has restored this medieval house to its former glory. The bedrooms feature Chassagne stone floors or hexagonal-floor tiles and splendid timber framing. The decoration is a contemporary take on the original 17th century design with its reworked panelling and tinted beams. A swimming pool has recently been built in the garden.
