Horoolol guest house

Out of expectation! I was travelling alone in Ulaanbaatar and I just booked the cheapest bed I could find on trip.com. What I need was simply a bed to stay a night. When I arrived, I was the only customer in the apartment, which meant that I could enjoy the whole room without worrying about disturbing the others. This was a lucky coincidence, of course. But apart from this, the owner was super friendly (we communicated using Google Translate) and the place was very clean. The place was a bit hard to find, though. I asked a staff in a nearby convenience store to get there. But you can go to and from the city centre (Sukhbaatar Square, National Museum, etc.) via a 15-min bus trip.

Owner was very nice in that she gave me a bottle of water to drink, a pair of socks, and some food to eat. She also gave me a map of Ulaan Baatar and told me about all the different popular landmarks to go in the city eventhough I didn't need it since I am only staying for such a short period of time. Was very helpful in this respect. Her place is in a great location in where it is near a lot of restaurants and stores. Has a nice big washer although I didn't need to use it since I only needed to stay for one night. I will be more than happy to stay at her place multiple times if I am travelling towards Ulaan Baatar again!
