We had a good stay at Chinggis Khan Hotel. Clean and spacious and good location.

A hotel that’s full of history, VIPs from around the world who visit Ulanbataar stayed at this historic hotel. The room is a bit dated but still a great place for vacation. Will definitely stay here again when coming to Mongolia.

Old hotel and bad management. Breakfast is average, Parking lot was a disaster. Room was clean but AC doesnt work.

It's really not that good! Let's talk about the good parts first. The internet speed is fast and the location is also very good. It's about a 2-kilometer walk from Genghis Khan Square and there are various restaurants at the door. As for the bad parts, the breakfast is all vegetarian and the food is relatively simple. After checking out, I stored my luggage. When I came back to pick up my luggage, I told them that the place was dirty and I had to be fined 20,000 Mongolian tugriks. The money was not much, so I said, "You said I dirty it, show me the evidence or photos." The other party struggled for a few minutes and said, "Forget it... If you don't insist, I will give you the money." Another thing is that the room is relatively old. Anyway, I will never come again in this life. The next thing is what will happen after becoming the Mongolian People's Autonomous Region.

Genghis Khan Hotel is said to have been stayed at by many famous people. I thought it was surprisingly cheap at just over 10,000 yen per night, so I made a reservation. The exterior feels a little old. The hotel lobby and rooms are clean. There wasn't an amenity comb provided at first. You can't use the hairdryer in the bathroom, so you can't dry your hair unless you use the outlet in the room. There wasn't much variety, but breakfast was delicious. They booked a taxi for us on the way back, which was helpful.

It was a traditional Mongolian luxury hotel, but is now much older. However, it is next door to E-Mart and the prices are reasonable. It is said that it is easy to access restaurants and supermarkets next door to E-Mart.

All aspects are good, but the location is not the best. It takes about 20 minutes to walk to Genghis Khan Square, which is a bit far.

It's a fairly old hotel, but the towels in the room and bath are so worn out that the fibers are coming undone, and the door was poorly fitted and could only be closed by pulling it really hard. There was a small variety of breakfast options and it didn't taste good. The worst part was the bathroom, the shower outlet seemed clogged and there was barely any hot water coming out like a shower. Also, when I checked out, I was surprised that the receptionist was playing video games on her smartphone and didn't really help me. It would have been a branded hotel in the past, but perhaps due to poor management, it was just a second-rate hotel. It was cheap and bad, and I don't want to stay there again.

I asked the front desk to call a taxi to the airport and they quoted 120,000 Mongolian Tugriks, which is more than 250 RMB. The car was very old. When I arrived, the airport charged 20 USD for a new car. Bad review! Breakfast was all Korean peasants. No one replenished the food when it was gone. It was a mess.
