Stayed for the week and was a nice cheap hotel near the city centre. Only issue I had was that the AC had no remote, nor a switch to turn on. So unless the windows were open, it could get pretty toasty in the room. Otherwise, receptionists were helpful in helping out with taxis and where to sightsee.

The hotel is old. There are many chips on the furniture. There was one mug in the room, although the room was for 2 people, but 2 spoons. Bathrobe with stains. The towels are torn and look old. The window looked out onto the road, and the audibility was as if you were sleeping on the street! The air conditioner works, but there is no remote control for it in the room. They put sugar in, but there wasn't even tea or water. Only in the minibar, i.e. for a fee. There are curtains, but they are dirty. There is no tulle. I asked to be met at the airport, but no one came. Plus, the phone number listed on the site is not working.

The hotel is within walking distance of the train station, which is convenient for people traveling by train. The hotel is on the roadside and is an independent building, which is easy to find. There is a very good restaurant downstairs with an elegant environment and convenient for eating. There is a CU within 500 meters, which is open 24 hours a day. It is very convenient.

The hotel is well located in relation to the train station. Can be reached on foot. You can also walk to the center if you wish, but not very close if you walk, it is better to take a taxi. The food at the hotel is good, tasty and not expensive. The room itself with a pleasant design, but there was not a pleasant smell and with hot water it is strange that it is very hot, then it is already cool. The staff is very friendly, they will always help and call a taxi and orient you in the area.

the room is not bad

We booked this hotel for a three-day stay of the organization's management on a business trip abroad. We received complete disappointment and negative emotions when checking into the Zolo Hotel 4* (Ulaanbaatar). The hotel absolutely does not correspond to the stated number of stars. We booked 5 single rooms of standard category. In one of the rooms, upon check-in, the hairdryer and doors in the shower were broken, towels in all rooms have an unpleasant musty smell. One of the rooms was provided with a pink children's bed, which did not correspond at all to the description and photo when booking; photos of this room are not presented on any website of this hotel. Breakfast for guests is very poor, cold and late. On the breakfast menu: pasta, one and a half sausages per guest, eggs, cucumbers and instant coffee - this is very stingy for a 4* hotel! It was not possible to promptly resolve the issue of relocating our guests, because it was simply impossible to reach the hotel by phone and the guests had to personally resolve this issue with the hotel administrator. The hotel staff speaks poor English. The photo on the site and some of the information are outdated. We strongly do not recommend Zolo hotel 4* (Ulaanbaatar) for accommodation!

I really don't recommend this hotel. We arrived late in the evening as a family with children. We were denied a reservation, saying that the dates were mixed up, and the reservation was made through the hotel manager. We asked to somehow resolve the situation, the reception staff does not speak either Russian or English. For an hour we tried in vain to figure out the situation and asked to talk to the manager. An hour later we were offered to move to another hotel, twice the price, an excellent solution to the situation. The hotel itself is very old, very unkempt, very dirty. It’s better not to make mistakes and immediately choose another hotel.
