Virkelig en hemmelig have.
Vi valgte Unawatuna frem for Galle for at komme tættere på stranden. Secret garden ligger i anden række fra stranden med meget nem adgang. Stedet er en fantastisk kombination af en gammel kolonial bygning med omkringliggende have, og moderne srilankansk tilgang til gæster. Vi følte os meget velkomne i et stort hyggeligt værelse med de nødvendige faciliteter. Dejlig morgenmad til fleksible tider.

A dreamy house with a wonderful garden. Not far from the lively beach and the main street in the village. But the Secret Garden is very quiet and we slept like marmots. A secret garden to escape and recover from the stress of Europe.

Villa immersed in a beautiful park in a convenient location to the beach and services of Unawatuna (the worst place visited in Sri Lanka). The room assigned to us was damp (very strong smell of mold), dated and infested with (large) spiders and colonies of ants. External bathroom with outdoor shower (practically visible to passers-by), cracked doors (impossible to close ... and sometimes even to open!), mosquito nets with holes, uncomfortable sockets and "fake" accessories (kettle and refrigerator not connectable ...). The only positive note: very helpful staff and excellent breakfast. Overall, however, a TERRIBLE quality / price ratio.

Truly in love with this space, a proper immersive jungle vibe with serene over arching greenery, tiny bridge walkways and optionable cute little cottage style rooms. The staff here are quick and prompt, well informed. Havent eaten breakfast here but it looked and smelled delightful! It is located walking distance from the market. Whenever I do return to SL, SecretGarden is hands down my first choice for stay!

The beautifiul hotel in the beautiful place. Approximately 50 meters by the beach. The willing and patient staff amd magical atmosphere, very tasty meals and everytime clear fresh water. Lot of restaurants and magazines, tuktuks... in the neighborhood...
