Stayed here several times - great hotel very relaxing and great grounds

One night spent here and was pleasantly surprised, accessible hotel with a pram, pool use and breakfast included with family room booking. Really nice surroundings. Room size was brilliant and fresh drinking water on top was a bonus, which we really liked

It was quiet and quaint. Beautiful property.

Room hadnt been cleaned properly, with crisps and a toothbrush cover left under a cushion on the sofa! Also, maintenance being carried out with no notifications/warnings nor safety cones displayed.

I visited Houston House in July for a facial and full body massage, Afton was exceptional and incredibly friendly. Her skills were to a high standard and I left feeling positive with my overall experience. We spoke for a little while during the beginning of my treatment to get to know each other however as time went on I was able to relax as well to calming music. The facilities were well kept and the entire team at reception welcomed me with a smile on their face. Thank you all for making me feel so welcome.

I had a fantastic (much needed) spa day with massage and facial treatment. With a 5 month old at home, this was the perfect treat to get some me time. Claire the therapist was amazing, the treatments were thorough and she created a lovely relaxing atmosphere. Would highly recommend a treatment from Claire.

Where do i start?! My wife and I had the best weekend of our lives just, and Houstoun House Hotel made that happen. We booked our wedding over two years ago and have visited countless times in our planning. Every time we were greeted brilliantly by different hotel staff and this only reaffirmed our decision to have our weekend there. Andrew the manager is always visible, interacting with guests and colleagues alike and that warmth radiates through the team, who consistently go above and beyond for their guests. Being from England originally, i had all of my guests staying over so trying to sort logistics etc could have been very difficult! The fantastic events manager Charlotte was consistently excellent to deal with, putting up with my constant questions and requests! Eventually i realised that Charlotte had all bases covered and then some, and that this team is such a well oiled machine that its best to simply let them do their jobs, as they do them so well. Clair, Chloe, Courtney, Christina, Emma, Karen - thank you to all of you and to the whole team who worked this past weekend to make our weekend perfect. Clair stood in as an honorary guest with Charlotte to coax our flower girls down the aisle and Courtney kept me from flapping when I was getting a little overwhelmed! All of our guests commented on the room size and beautiful setting and the weather blessed us with our dream day. Thank you doesn’t seem quite enough, but THANK YOU to you all.

I had a room with no heating but they corrected this so quickly and would have moved my room. Very efficient staff and communicative
