I had an incredible experience visiting the Pinkuylluna ruins and the local Quechua community. My tour guide Vianne Cruz Castro knowledge of Inka history and other Peruvian civilizations was impressive. She provided me with detailed information throughout the tour, making the visit not only educational but also fascinating. Her passion for the history and culture of Peru really stood out, and her ability to convey that knowledge in an accessible and entertaining way made the tour even more special. I highly recommend her services to anyone wanting to immerse themselves in the rich history and culture of Peru. Most of the staff was great but one of the female servers and a front desk staff didn’t seem as friendly as the others. Other than that it was an excellent place to stay.

I stayed at Las Qolqas with my family for 2 nights, and it was an excellent experience. The resort is fantastic—clean, well-designed, and full of attention to detail. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. The food and drinks were delicious, and the surrounding landscape and infrastructure added to the charm of the place. I highly recommend staying here!

Las Qolqas is the most cozy and relaxing place you will find in this area of Peru. A completely sustainable “lodge”, it does not sacrifice comfort and quality in every sense. It is unique in its concept, since you get to stay in European style “tents”, perfectly blended with nature. You can benefit from aromatherapy, expert massages, sauna, a giant outdoors hot tub, and, my personal favorite, the most wonderful and peaceful stream to immerse yourself after stunning hikes in the archeological sites in the surroundings. Food and local spirits are a treat, as well. The personal will happily accommodate your every need and make you feel at home.

We highly recommend this place to anyone. We truly enjoyed this magical place in middle of busy Ollantaytambo. Staff 5* Food 5* Hikes/Guide 5* Location to Machu Picchu train 5* When you arrive from busy Cusco or from a long Andes trip or trying to get adjusted to altitude - Las Qolqas is the best place to go and to be. A real oasis in middle of the Andes on a lovely creek coming down the sacred valley. When you enter the resort you feel instantly the tranquility, the nature surrounding you and the calm. The helpful and super professional smiling staff are all ready to make your stay most enjoyable. Las Qolqas offers superb hiking trips to Inka and pre-Inka sites that I had never heard of before. Ollantaytambo is full of these unknown sites that their brilliant guide is ready to show and to guide you to eg Pachamanka. The food is amazing - especially their salads fresh from their own garden. The dome for yoga that I visited but not used looks amazing. If we were living closer this would be definitely my favourite spot to retrieve and to enjoy nature. We shall return!

I stayed a total 4 nights. Be prepared for a rough 2-hr ride from Cusco to the resort. The safari tent, tranquility, greenery and all made the journey worthwhile. The staff and drivers were professional and helpful. I looked forward to the daily breakfast which was scrumptious and wholesome. Free shuttles were provided to and fro the resort, town and train station. The resort kept my luggage while I made a day trip to Machu Picchu. The only downside was the inconsistent water temperature which happened at the 2 different tents I stayed.

Las Qolqas invites you to slow down, feel the moment and enjoy the surroundings. The glamping tents are very well designed and have everything you need. The beds are super comfortable and the curtains block all light, giving you a good night’s sleep. The gardens and the river that runs through the hotel grounds are exquisite. The staff is very attentive and helpful. The spa is very special with the sound of the running water of the river, an hot tub and expert masseuses . After a busy day exploring the wonderful Sacred Valley, we felt warmly welcomed at Las Qolqas.

I really enjoyed my stay here. Everything from the food to the views was excellent. The staff was extremely attentive and I really love the design of the hotel where you get stunning views of the Andes as you walk down from your tent. The Pachamama meal was world class and prepared using locally sourced ingredients, making it taste all the better. Can’t recommend this hotel enough, one of the best places I have stayed at.

We stayed in Las Qolqas for 2 nights but wished we had stayed the additional 2 more nights instead of staying in town near the train station. It is ideally situated 15 minutes away from the hustle and bustle of Ollantaytambo and it is a peaceful haven next to the Urubamba river. The spectacular views of the mountains surrounding this piece of paradise is beautiful. The rooms are actually tents, glamming so to speak, spare but comfortable. There is a fireplace if extra heat is needed which we didn’t use as well as a heater. The beds and beddings were quite comfortable. The meals were delicious and the dining area is communal so it is lovely if you want to chat with fellow travellers. The Piscos at the bar area is great and two of them can be lethal at this altitude. There is a yoga tent, a spa and a hot tub perfect to dip in after a cool swim in the river. All in all, I would definitely recommend Las Qolqas as the place to stay in if you need accommodations in Sacred Valley and to explore Machu Picchu.
