A unique boutique hotel in the heart of a beautiful historic city. The view from the room to the square and Dom Toren was astonishing. Room well decorated, bike rentals service, personenel so kind and welcoming and hotel is within walking distance to all major attractions of the city. A special reference for Emma who was always there when we needed her help in organizing our visit to this lovely hotel. Mother Goose Team thank you for everything and see you soon!!!

The friendliest team welcomes you to this charming and inviting boutique hotel. The room was gorgeous, toiletries amazing, hospitality second to none. The view was spectacular and, although right above all the buzzy terraces on the square below, pretty sound-proof! Earplugs are available for the sensitive sleeper. The breakfast in bed option was charming. Highly recommend.

A lovely and comfortable hotel with an amazing theme of geese. The staff were so attentive and the rooms were a lovely place to rest. The beds were nice and firm and the options for breakfast sounded delicious, although we didn't try them. Will be back!

The central location, with the huge bonus of city centre parking, enabled us to make the most of a very short visit on our way to somewhere else. The room was small but not too small (and as advertised - they don't promise a suite!), clean, quirky with a comfy bed and good shower. Staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast (at an Italian vegetarian restaurant round the corner) was huge and tasty. We would stay there again (we loved the city and would like to return).

Very nice hotel and well designed rooms. The hotel is right in the middle of Utrecht so the location is perfect. Staff are also helpful. We went for a medium mother goose room which was right above a big bar with outside seating. The bar was open very late and was noisy so if you’re a light sleeper, this likely to be an issue. The room was number was 202.

Het hotel heeft een goed ligging. Het is schoon, toegankelijk en een goede sfeer. Onze boeking verliep niet geheel soepel. We werden niet terug gebeld terwijl dit gezegd was. Engels sprekende vrouw maakte typfout in email, waardoor betalingsverzoek niet binnenkwam. Ene vrouw geeft aan dat betaling bij aankomst geen probleem was, half uur later worden we gebeld, wel een probleem. Warrig, maar alles is goed gekomen.

The location in a pedestrian area is very well situated to reach the main tourist sites/canals/restaurants etc. The hotel itself is very quirky. The staff are friendly and helpful. On arrival you will step into a very small reception area where you will find a black SMEG fridge, maybe piles of laundry bags, and also complementary fruits etc. The bedrooms (my friend and I had two similar rooms but others may of course be different) hold the basics. Space is limited - no minibar, I put my case on the chair but if my husband had been with me, a 2nd person and case would be difficult to fit in. The beds were 'small' doubles. Breakfast is not included - however the breakfast place which the hotel recommends is lovely. we found it better to go there independently as can choose freely what to eat and for us it worked out less expensive. The hotel still uses old style keys, so be prepared to find a space for a large key and fob when you go out. Probably would look for a different hotel if/when returning to Utrecht but enjoyed the experience.

What a charming boutique hotel in an amazing location within Utrecht. Just steps away from the canals, with lots of restaurants and shopping. Our room has a lovely room facing the square and the Dom tower. We stayed a couple of nights in the medium room 102. We returned a later date and stayed in 201 cosy room. Although it was lovely it was definitely cosy, so would most likely upgrade to the medium sized room next time. Very clean and comfortable. There was a lift to the floors as the steps were very steep. There is a reception desk where they were very helpful and friendly and hotel rooms; so very simple offerings The unique design of the shower and sinks although different, added to the charm. A definite must stay!

Mother Goose was our home away from home. Service was excellent. Very much like a bed and breakfast. Breakfast served around the corner. Try the chick peas scrambled eggs! Our hosts recommended two restaurants for dinners. The lobby is welcoming had tea, coffee or water - no extra charge. We used their umbrellas. They also have cookies baked at a local bakery. Lobby also had books including a guide book for browsing - nice to not be on-line. We arrived early and staff delivered luggage to our room. Our room was clean and we had view of the plaza. Curtains kept out noise and light for sleeping. Elevator is a plus as we were on third floor. Highly recommend - so convenient for walking around Utrecht. We flew the coop but hope to go back.
