This property is located in the walking district which makes it hard to find and difficult to access by car. We were told you are allowed to drive to the property to drop off your luggage, though. However, pedestrians in the walking area expressed annoyance at us driving there. Be sure to arrive before 9 pm weekdays and 10 pm at weekend, before the reception closes, because you cannot enter the property after that. We arrived shortly after 10 pm and were lucky to alert an employee in the adjacent Pepi’s restaurant (which also closed at 10 pm), who kindly let us in. It turned out there was an envelope waiting for us at the front desk, with instructions and room key – however, it would have been impossible for us to access that if we had not gotten in at all. The room has older furniture, but the décor is nice. No fridge though, and no A/C, which makes the room too warm in the summer. You could keep the balcony door open as there was a netting, to let cooler night air in, but then you get the noise from the streets. We were woken up at 6:30 am to the sound of garbage and delivery trucks. The breakfast was adequate with the nice addition of fresh fruit, but no hot items though, which was somewhat disappointing. Overall it was not quite worth the price, especially considering that we stayed there in the summer, which is not the high season in Vail.
