Guaparo Suites

It had been several years since I stayed at the hotel, this time I did it with my wife, my 2 small children and a niece. I have mixed feelings because there are renovations and details that cannot wait, such as changing the carpets (clean but worn), maintenance to the shower bodies (they work but are deteriorated) and old air conditioners that are noisy. The logistics in the distribution of the rooms was not the best, offering an expensive alternative instead of a functional one, when the gentleman at the reception was asked for an explanation the answer was "hotel policies". As a family, and based on what was assigned by the hotel reception, we did our own logistics and we distributed ourselves in the most comfortable and functional way that we could. I call this LACK OF EMPATHY and FEAR OF PROCEDURES. Otherwise everything was very good, food, willingness to help from the rest of the staff.

We stayed between March 29 and April 23, this hotel stands out for its security from the entrance. Convenient parking, attention upon arrival and departure, it has spacious rooms, cleaning is scrupulous every day, there are no bad smells or humidity, I could stay there and I would be happy. But, the restaurant is disappointing, four days, eating practically the same breakfast, the food in general seems like clinic food, they offer only one dish and if you don't like it or can't, you have to eat without eating, a ham and white cheese sandwich with a drink that didn't change in 4 days or some patacones that the plantains were inedible for $ 10. There is an option of a PUB at the top with food and drink prices so high for the place, that if the view is magnificent, although in the vicinity there is not even a hot dog stand. In conclusion, a good hotel for an affordable cost, BUT BETTER BRING YOUR OWN FOOD
