Simple hotel, with good beds and somewhat outdated (bath)rooms without air conditioning. Cleaning every day, new towels and our clothes neatly folded. Friendly staff doing what they have to do. It's a shame that the hotel is quite large and only offers breakfast for guests and possibly a drink if you sit on the terrace or lounge. This could well be a bustling grand cafe with a cozy bar, drinks menu and something to eat. The advantage is that they are certainly not pushy and you can feel free to play a game or read a book. But there is plenty of nightlife in Valkenburg. It is not entirely fair that this hotel has single-handedly increased the tourist tax from €2 to €4.25 per person per day. This is just a hidden price increase of the room, but who checks this or knows this. You are looking for an inclusive room price and expect that all hotels will pass on the same amount to their guests and not secretly add 2.25 people per night on top for their own interests! They still said no, this is the city tax, in my opinion misleading and not allowed!! Limburg was beautiful again and we had a great midweek.

Laten we voorop stellen dat prijs-kwaliteit tijdens de kerstperiode echt heel anders is dan gebruikelijk in Valkenburg. Het hotel ligt echt op een prima locatie, 1 minuut lopen van het gezellige plein. We zijn op vrijdag prima ontvangen door de eigenaar, een gezellige bar om een drankje te doen en even in alle rust thuis te komen. De kamers zijn heel simpel, net zoals de badkamer. Vervelend vonden wij de 2 apsrte bedden die echt heel makkelijk schoven, en dat het echt wel gehorig is. Of we hadden erg luidde duitse buren ;-). De schoonmakers maken top schoon, iets te.. want wij waren spullen kwijt, die ze in een verstopt laatje hadden gedaan.. maar wel keurig schoon en opgeruimd door ze. Het ontbijt is simpel, maar goed. Wij misten een gebakken eitje met spek. Maar dat is dan ook Luxe.. De eigenaren zijn uiterst vriendelijk en netjes. Al mrt al een meer dan prima verblijf gehad

Kleines Hotel mitten im Zentrum und 3 Minuten vom Bahnhof Saubere Zimmer, freundliches Personal Frühstück war typisch Holländisch . Lecker und reichlich Auswahl Kein Aufzug im Haus , für Fußkranke eher nicht geeignet Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in Valkenburg
