Starting from the reception, rude staff.
They assigned us a room where renovation work began above ours every morning. As early as eight in the morning we could hear hammering, using the hose, pieces of wall or plasterboard falling and loud communication between them. The works continue all morning and then speaking to the reception, knowing of this mix-up, they tell us that they continue until five in the afternoon.
It was impossible to rest with these repetitive and annoying noises.
The shower was terrible. We found worms on the shower tray twice. Maybe we come from upstairs due to renovations.
Acceptable cleanliness. Only after discussing this mix-up did they begin to pay more attention to cleanliness.
Terrible table service. Some people even seemed annoyed when we asked for a glass of water or a spoon. Once they even ignored us without even bringing us a drink once we were seated.
Melia is the worst hotel experience and chain I have ever tried.
I would never choose it again in the future, I do not recommend it.

It was our first time to stay at this all-inclusive hotel. It was hygienic, convenient and very close to the seaside. It was in line with our expectations. It was 8 kilometers away from VIAZUL station and cost about ten US dollars. I booked an all-inclusive room for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The dining experience was also very good. The omelettes and steaks were delicious. The evening activities were also very lively. It was a worthwhile trip!

Sol Palmeras is the best hotel in all of Varadero! It was my second time coming here, and I had an absolute blast with my family. The entertainment offerings are second to none. From the beach parties to the disco, I never felt like I wasn’t having a good time. The rooms are clean, the drinks are delicious, and the staff are so kind and friendly. Reniel and Isaac are the best entertainers. Make sure to hang out with them when you get here! I’ll be back soon!

Pasamos una semana en el paraíso. Un hotel para disfrutar de unas excelentes vacaciones en familia. Un ambiente genial con la mejor animación siempre divertida con excelentes animadores. This hotel was beautiful and full of amazing amenities , services, food and people. The entertainment team made our trip spectacular and lifted everyones spirits with well organized events including beach parties, aquatic stretching and lots of sports activities. I will definitely be coming back here to this hotel the next time i come to cuba.
