First off the architecture is absolutely beautiful and the staff is very helpful & friendly. We didn't try the food, so I can't speak to that. The hotel is old so there are some signs of that here & there. The big drawbacks were the weird old mattress in the hall and the old refrigerator in the room. Also, whereas the bedding and towels look clean, they were stained, which was off-putting. The AC worked great, but there was no hot water.

I can not fault this hotel. It is very well located, close enough to Varkala cliff to have access to the shops and restaurants,but tucked away far enough to feel away from the hustle and bustle and in peace. The grounds are beautiful, with coconut trees and tropical plants. The pool is one of the best I’ve been in, it’s large and immaculately clean. The room is spacious, again very clean and the decor is tasteful. The bed is extremely comfortable too. Quassier and Umar the owners were extremely hospitable and could not do enough! When you visit you must try the Saffron tea, it’s delicious and also the omelettes made in the morning too! The best! Thanks you so much guys, had an awesome time and I will be back! 💯

Good place and nice ambience to stay . Room we stayed was quite spacious and comfortable ,it was quiet clean .service was ok .moreover it was near to beach with good visuals .Good go to stay resort ♥️

The resort shares it's area with Soul hostel ! So you can get comfy rooms and still meet solo travellers. The managers are very friendly and often throw pool parties ***** with Soul which makes this place one of the happening spots in Varkala cliff ! It also shares it's place with Soul cafe. It's a perfect wind down place with yummy food. Their Jeera rice with Spicy paneer masala was something I frequently came back for ! And of course, the mojitos prepared by Nikki was the best. Above all these, it's the sweet friendly community that makes all of these so memorable ! Definitely would stay again.
