A l'Hôtel des Roys

We had a very disappointing stay at this property. here are the following issues we ran into during our 1 night in room 101. The heater did not work property, the room was way too cold even after turning up the heat to several higher settings including full. The TV channel offering was very limited with no English-speaking channels being available, yet on the ******* site it states that they offer premium channels and first run movies, none of these were available, when we asked the front desk person, he confirmed these were discontinued quite a while back. On the ******* ad it also states, "soundproof rooms", this is not at all accurate as we could hear voices and other guest walking up and down the stairs throughout the night. The free Wi-Fi was not available in our room, when I went down again and asked the front desk for help, he stated that the Wi-Fi does not always work in the rooms and to try other room number Wi-Fi access to see if these would work in our room, "if not then you will need to get your wi-fi access in the lobby". The last disappointment was the breakfast buffet, it was good but very limited for the amount of $16.00 euros each, we have been in Europe travelling for the past 2 weeks and all other properties we stayed at either had the same rate or lower and offered a far wider assortment. Overall a pretty decent stay for a one night stay. Friendly staff and a convenient location. The bed sheets however were quite scratchy. The wifi was very slow in our room.
