The Bedford Regency Hotel

Downtown Victoria
Well I'm not going to say the pillows are the fluffiest I've ever had because I always bring my own pillow, 🤣 But we enjoyed staying at the Bedford Regency Hotel in downtown Victoria British Columbia, the hotel room was very clean and very well kept. And it's right in the heart of downtown Victoria and very close to restaurants bars and shopping. It has a few idiosyncrasies like the lobby is on the second floor and the road in front of the hotel is closed during check-in hours but checking in to the hotel was not a problem. The bed was comfortable and it was not too noisy considering it is close to a few pubs. The TV was a bit high in our room for my viewing as I have neck problems but I was told next time to ask for one that is positioned lower. I liked the vintage look in the rooms. I have never come across a room that had a shower with two shower heads before.
Arbutus Inn

Burnside
I found the hotel staff very friendly and helpful. Not too far from restaurants or shopping centers. The room was clean and surprisingly quiet for a hotel. We really liked the bathroom. No complaints. Would stay here again anytime.
Quality Inn Downtown Inner Harbour

Downtown Victoria
The room was neat and comfortable. The attached restaurant has a very fine English breakfast, which is very standard. Located in the city center, the traffic is very convenient. In addition, a self-service washing machine and clothes dryer are attached for your convenience.
Robin Hood Inn and Suites

I'm a middle school teacher in USA. I recently brought a group of 14 sixth and seventh graders on a class trip to Victoria, BC. We stayed at the Robin Hood Inn and Suites and I'm so glad we did! Here are a few of the reasons I would recommend this hotel: 1) The beds and bedding were VERY comfortable. 2) This is one of the few establishments where everything is EXCEPTIONALLY clean. 3) The staff, including the owner, was highly attentive and accommodating. (Ex: we took cabs to one of our destinations; the front dest staff called the cabs for us and then, when one of our student left his wallet in the cab, they reached out to the cab company several times to retrieve the wallet). They even gave small souvenirs to all the members of our group on the last morning of our stay. 4) The sign outside the hotel says it's the best value in Canada and that seems about right... we chose the hotel because the rooms were less than chain hotels down the road. But then Robin Hood gave us so many extras. They met us at the Clipper and took our bags back to the hotel. They offered us umbrellas for the group when it was raining. They have complementary e-bike and kayak rentals. The continental breakfast met the wide needs of our large group. The list goes on. 5) The hotel ”Great Room” is awesome. Between the pool table and the foosball table and the board games and puzzles, our students made a lot of memories. There's even a good sized ”library” in the great room that some of our prolific readers enjoyed checking out. Way more amenities in this room than you'd expect in an Airbnb or VRBO. 6) The hotel is right next to the galloping goose trail, the 11 bus line (just a few stops to downtown and we never waited more than a couple minutes for the bus), and the water taxis (aka ”pickle boats”). If you want a comfortable stay for a fair price with lots of extras, this is your spot!
Ocean Island Inn | Backpackers | Suites
3.9/571 Reviews
Downtown Victoria
The miniature double room just fits a double mattress, but there are charging plugs for bedside lamps and storage racks. It is clean and hygienic. The four rooms share a bathroom, and the bathroom is also very clean. The best thing about it is that besides providing a rich free breakfast and a filling dinner, the atmosphere of the hostel is very strong. Provide one free water or beer. There are many older people, so it is called a backpacker hostel, not a youth hostel.
Holiday Inn Express & Suites Victoria - Colwood
4.3/5104 Reviews
West Shore
It is not suitable for a family with kids. There is no bathtub. It is not really clean in bathroom. The indoor swimming pool is small.
