Spacious apartment with very large bathroom and shower, small kitchen and good sofa, along with a TV in the lounge and the bedroom. Nice coffee in the cafe and the staff were all lovely. Great book exchange too!

My 5 stars goes to the apartments not Vilamoura itself. One of the best 3 star hotels we have stayed in A credit to the cleaners from the apartments to the public areas all spotless. Free air con included Rooms large and spacious, hob and microwave but no oven. Pool is freezing even in July but lovely once your dunked in! Plenty of sun beds. Spar around 5 mins walk. Use Uber much cheaper than local taxis reception will tell you not to use but just ignore we had no issue in 10 days , Uber for up to 4 people around 5 euros we got dropped off at restaurant il trio and walked down the steps to the harbour . Turn right by the Irish bar use the steps to the right this will bring you to a lovely square of restaurants. Vilamoura itself looks the part but I would not return. Look up and you will see the massage parlours and the **** supermarket, up the side and back streets you will see the gentlemen’s clubs and massage parlours with an atm conveniently situated outside of each. Although this will cause you no problems I couldn’t help but notice the girls outside the massage parlour, drunken men leaving barely able to walk never mind anything else ! On the back and side streets the girls do stand in the doorway calling to the men as they walk past, this will cause you no bother as they are spaced out and it’s done very discreetly, I just find it contradicts what Vilamoura claims to be. It’s easy to just ignore it and not see it if you choose not to. I’m sure it is happens everywhere I’ve just never noticed it before. The marina is lovely, food expensive nice for a few drinks sat overlooking the marina. Would never return though.

We only stayed for one night but would have happily spent a week. Lovely big room overlooking the pool and spotlessly clean. Dinner and breakfast were also great value.

The whole place is very friendly and very well maintained. Our apartment was large, superb air conditioning and clean. In fact, the whole place was spotless. The bar/restaurant was good and decent food at a reasonable price. Only downside for us was the room had a job and a microwave only which made self-catering a little challenging: an oven would have given us more choices.

Lovely place nice staff ..very clean ..this was our second time there ..people this year reserved there sunbeds so early ..we didn't get this last year is annoying..free bus is 3 times a day ..browns sports bar is a 10 min walk they do lovely food and not expensive..also there is an Indian restaurant near by..Will go back as we love it there ..we also got a bus and went to different places ..the buses are cheap ..Great place ..breakfast is ok

Please be aware Jet2 called this Hotel "Villamoura Golf apartments" this will cause you issues with local taxi, as they dont know it by that name - hope that helps Big spacious 1 bedroom apartment, clean with large bathroom, small kitchen with fridge, hob, microwave, toaster and kettle Would like to sleep on the sofa bed was very hard (not that we needed to just making anyone who needs all 4 beds aware) Good air con Great staff, really amenable, helpful and pleasant 8 Euro for a taxi to the harbour as of June 2024, the hotel does lay on a free shuttle bus 3 times a day

Request a pool level room, especially if you have any mobility issues. There are a lot of stairs to other accommodation. The staff are all very welcoming, our studio apartment was great. Large bathroom with shower, fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave and four ring hob, as well as appropriate crockery/utensils. A short walk to the restaurant and pool bar. I have limited mobility. We were half board and the food was ample. Breakfast and dinner. Dinner was from a set menu, however, you could choose from the main menu and pay. Pool bar prices were very reasonable and the snacks were scrumptious. A bus runs three times a day to take you to the Marina and back if you wish, this is a fab FREE service. Our first time here but it won't be our last.
