Schöne Zimmer, grosse und bequeme Betten. Öffentliche Bereiche wie Bar und Gastraum nicht so ansprechend. Für einen Kurzaufenthalt ist das Hotel zu empfehlen.

Dem Hotel merkt man an, dass hier wirklich versucht wird, mit einem Minimum an Personal auszukommen. Die Rezeption ist vormittags nicht besetzt, am Nachmittag und Abend ist der Rezeptionist gleichzeitig der Barkeeper. Reinigung des Zimmers gibt es nur auf Bestellung. Auch im Zimmer ist die Minimierung der laufenden Kosten z.B. für Instandhaltung sichtbar. Der Griff in der Badewanne ist halb herausgerissen, die Armatur auch nur so halb richtig montiert und Handtücher werden vermutlich erst aussortiert, wenn die Löcher eine gewisse Grösse überschreiten. Das Bett ist in Ordnung, sehr breit, mit anständiger Matratze und es finden sich auch mehrere zugängliche Steckdosen im Zimmer, was nicht immer selbstverständlich ist. Wir hatten das Zimmer zur Strasse direkt über dem Eingang. Bei trockenem Wetter sammeln sich die Busreisegruppen lautstark vor der Tür, bevor sie alle ihre Rollkoffer über das Pflaster in Richtung Bus ziehen. Wer nicht früh aufstehen möchte, sollte ein Zimmer zum Innenhof nehmen. Frühstücken kann man auch, muss man aber nicht. Bei uns war das - ungewürzte - Rührei lauwarm, dafür der Obstsalat so kalt, dass er an den Zähnen weh tat. Man übernachtet hier einigermassen günstig. Aber das merkt man auch.

Ich muss leider ein negatives Kommentar abgeben, weil das Hotel volle Stornogebühren von 170 Euro berechnet, obwohl ich innerhalb 1 min nach einer versehentlichen Buchung mit der *********** App um eine Stornierung gebeten habe. Trotz richtiger Eingabe ist das Datum in der App iimmerwieder auf 22 Juli 2024 umgespungen.Das Habe ich zu spät gemerkt.Wir waren sogar Vorort und baten mit Zuzahlung (war natürlich teurer ) den Termin vom 22.07.24 auf ursprünglich geplanten Termin 22-24.06.2024 umbuchen aber ohne Erfolg. Der Hotelmitarbeiter verstand auch nicht warum es nicht geht. Rief seine Chefin an, die aber die Umbuchung ablehnte. Es wäre wirklich Zeit sowas gesetzlich ze ändern, denn ich verstehe nicht, warum ein Hotel den vollen Preis kassieren darf, ohne dass man eine Leistung erhält. Es kann doch nicht sein, dass wenn man eine Minute später storniert, dem Hotel volle kosten entstehen und es den vollen Preis einbehält. Ich werde dies Situation auch an den Gesetzgeber weiterleiten. Vielleicht tut sich da was in der Zukunft.

Once again my hotel in VS. Brilliant location in the beautiful old town, restaurants and shopping facilities next door. Good and friendly service, rooms clean and quiet, anytime again...
and cheap parking is also possible with a few tricks 🙃😉
