Days Inn by Wyndham Virginia Beach at the Beach

It was in a good location for our event.

window had previous persons lip and face marks where they pressed face against window probably children. musty smell plus 2 chairs outside with red stain that looked initially like blood and on wall. I figured probably a red drink though. Electric not hotels fault went out for hour or 2 second day. hotel is not on beach it's across street from other hotels. parking spots are tight. Virginia Beach itself is amazing.

The property was great

We had diffiulty with the key card access to our room- received two cards but only one worked until the last day when we were checking out!

The place was decent, kind of a party place. Parking was not easy, and we didn't have any hot water until the last night of our stay.

Enjoyed our one nigjt stay, and commented we would have even stayed 2 to 3 nights here. Our room was large as hotel rooms go, and had a decent partial ocean view from our balcony. Hotel is across the street from the beach/ocean with easy access..Coffee shop, souvenir shops, restaurants are close by and walkable.

I take my review back every week since they gave us $100 they keep taking it back out of our bank account…. If you see my other review you would understand what I am talking about… Very Unprofessional and Not Family Friendly…. I will be leaving a very bad review on other sites and letting family and friends know NOT TO STAY HERE!!!!!

I was impressed with the pool, beautiful clear water and a lovely pool deck. Not too crowded (but we were there on a Sun-Wed). Also liked the bedding, very clean and comfortable. However, upon checking in, we were told the room we reserved with a kitchen was not available and offered a room with a balcony, then told that was not available either. Luckily we weren’t planning on using the kitchen so it didn’t matter, but be sure you will receive the room you reserved! The first night the fire alarm went off at 2am, and continued blaring until Fire dept came and cleared it (no fire, no reason given for the alarm). The room keys kept not working, we’d have to get new ones every day, finally the last day the clerk said electronics (cellphones) deactivate them- which we were never told about before. Also, the first night we were there the cold water stopped working. We reported it and it was fixed the next morning. They were putting in a new hot water heater with a crane the day we left. The complimentary breakfast was good. The staff were all very nice. Good location to beach and nearby restaurants.
