Great Bayfront location away from the congestion and craziness of the Ocean Front area. Lovely hotel, Great Beach, Nice Pool, Very Light, Bright and Clean but the best part is their Staff! Friendly, Knowledgeable, Professional, always able to make area suggestions for whateveryou'relookingfor. Great location for a family reunion, wedding/renew your vows on the beach. The only reason they didn't get 5* was this stay we notices several inconsistencies in the Delta Pantry (for certain marriott bonvoy members) as well as in the restaurant. We have always enjoyed the Tin Cup but we're disappointed in the difference between what was on the menu and what had been eliminated but was still listed. Ordered the same breakfast 2 mornings and they were totally different. Small portion of spinach crab dip was yummy but small for $17. Same with Caesar salad and bronzed fish. We'll keep going back as we know they have had recent management changes.

Despite poor internet reception and a hard bed, this hotel is superior. I used to stay at a competitor for several years but time and Covid has taken a toll on it. Our last 3 visits have all been at this hotel. Location can’t be beat and the staff is very accommodating and pleasant. We visit several hotels and staffing doesn’t compare to the diamonds they have here. Looking forward to our next getaway and it will definitely be here.

This was not what I expected at all. I needed 2 beds for 3 people. I booked a double studio. Please understand that these beds are very small. Full size maybe. AC unit was extremely loud. Had to turn it off to get some sleep but I’m sure the bed also contributed to my sleep issue. When I asked about changing rooms, it’s $50 for a room cleaning fee and $80 to upgrade a Queen bed with a Queen pullout sofa. Also, the building we are in has 1 adult pool. I have a child why would you place me in this building? The building next door has all the amenities, pools, fitness center, recreational activities. You have to walk outside to enter the other building. For the AC unit noise, they say they will send someone to check it out. Idk…

Bed frames were dusty when the mattress slide a bit . But the rest was good

I brought my mom for her 75th birthday. It was our second time staying there (1st time being April 2017 with my two brothers and also my mom). Jumping Shrimp was a major disappointment, as I never did get to try out their shrimp and grits. The coffee bar in our room wasn’t stocked, which my mother quickly reminded me of. Otherwise, we had a great stay

The pool area is great, kiddie pool, indoor pool and outdoor pool with a bar (very priced drinks but good food). Overnight someone above vomited down hitting the railing and spraying our patio. It took 3 calls with promises of sending someone up and 7 hrs before anyone came. I eventually called corporate Hilton and then someone came. Found a used a q tip under the bedroom chair and a few barettes and toys in the pull out sofa. No top sheets or bottom sheets for sofa. The location is great, not far from Neptune Park. I’d be uneasy staying again given the cleaning issues. The front desk staff at check out was nice enough to waive resort fees when I told her that it was so long to have the patio cleaned.

Holiday Inn markets itself as an upper tier family hotel. This part of the chain is not family friendly. There were two electrical plugs in room #521. One beside the small round pedestal table and one directly across from it between the bed and the window. The table could not have two kids/teens sitting at it unless they can share very well. There was only one end table in the room so I had to use a chair for an end table to place my book and my water on beside the bed. Or I could walk around the bed to use the end table that was between the two beds and my wife was using. If you hare a family of 4 you will notice that there is only the end table in the center so your kids will not be able to game until they fall asleep, or the video games will be on the floor. There are insufficient plugs and flat surfaces in the main room. The bathroom had the plug in the wall opposite from the door way, above and near the toilet. So if you need to use the port for an electric razor or a curling iron you will get in the way of someone using the bathroom or washing their hands. The towels are by the plug-in. In order to stop light from leaking into the room, we had to uude the pants hanger and clip the shades together. They hotel staff does not stay on top of cleanliness or maintenance. On Saturday I reported that there was a broken car window in the overflow lot. The glass was still there Sunday Morning even though our group filled the parking lot on Saturday. Saturday morning there was litter left all over the 3rd floor balcony. They finally got a trash can up there later in the day. Sunday it appears that the restaurant in the hotel did not do the hotel any favors. They piled their garbage on the pool deck in plain sight by the conference rooms that we were using. There is only one stall in the men's room by ballroom F. One of the 4 toilet paper dispensers was broken and the support railing pulled out a quarter inch from the wall.

I am writing because there has been questionable reviews on this hotel. I went for 4 nights mid July with my daughter. We stayed in a 2 room suite on the 2nd floor. Staff - all very nice and friendly from the front desk to maintenance and housekeeping. Our key needed to be re-magnitized multiple times, no issue. My rental car's battery died and a maintenance worker brought his own car over to help. Parking - yes it is a small lot, what would you expect on ocean? I only had one late night where I had to park around the corner. It is short walk, no issues. Location - perfect! You can walk to so many restaurants and shop too. The beach access was great and if you want to rent a chair, there is a spot without walking far. We had a great trip and would definitely stay again.

Norris, along with other servers attended to our large party with attentive service. The food was also very tasty and enjoyable. . My daughters favorite hotel on the beach - and the extra amenities for families allows me to work from the hotel if necessary - while my munchkin still has fun.. she loves the kids club even at 10 y/o and the private mini movie theater because she can go ”by herself” since I am only a few feet away. The indoor lazy river pool is a huge hit - and clean and maintained. The outdoor pool is BEACHFRONT..almost in the sand its so well located.The few times we have stayed there the staff was always above and beyond helpful. Downfalls - The A/C units could use an upgrade and the breakfast spot needs some decor upgrades but the food is REAL (not ”pretend scrambled eggs” ) and well prepared and service is good. I wouldn't consider it a ”Luxury” hotel and the seasonal prices are equal to the fancy competitors but I guess that depends on how you define luxury - my daughter would choose this hotel over the new Hilton without question.
