Disney's Vero Beach Resort was a lovely surprise indeed. We stayed for 1 night only. Unfortunately, the weather was terrible - very windy and rainy. We received a very warm welcome as soon as we arrived. Our room was gorgeous. The Christmas tree and decorations were beautiful. We were very happy to find dole whip in the little shop/eatery near the pool. We enjoyed a lovely dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed sitting in the reception area on the lovely chairs after dinner. We booked through David's DVC. We hope to visit again in the future in nice weather.

Outstanding room. Restaurants offered great variety. Beach was a little difficult to navigate but really nice. Would definitely stay there again. Having an first floor covered parking area was fantastic considering that I am in a wheel chair. Elevators need some repair. One started moving before the doors closed.

Large resort right on the ocean. If you aren't on the third floor in any of the buildings, except for the cottages, you won't have a view of the ocean. Very clean, staff is so helpful and nice. Only one restaurant for a sit down breakfast or dinner, limited menu for dinner and a bit pricey. There is a "deli" you can get food at, pizza, sandwiches, salad, etc. Breakfast menu is good and reasonable. Eggs benedict was very good, biscuits and gravy was short on the sausage and gravy. There are things to do, mostly for kids and an extra charge for most of it. Lots of seating around the resort, if you want to sit on the beach, you have to pay for chairs and umbrellas.

Disney really does everything best. They always treat you like a VIP in a 6 star resort Extra beddings are sealed and sanitary. Lobby is scented and smells like a beach experience. As added bonus, all trips are booked through Disney directly as travel agencies now a days are all scams including United vacation who now use Priceline.

We asked for a 3 bedroom cottage and had to settle for 2 - 2 bedroom villas. Then we asked for our rooms to be close to each other and the only thing they could do was put us on the same floor at opposite ends. Not the most convenient. The foot sprayers for when you come off the beach are ridiculous. One sprayer and it barely works. And a hose if you can find the on spigot. Not a first class operation like Disney used to strive for.

We've been here many times and keep coming back for the quiet, relaxing atmosphere. Pool and beach is all we need. Wind and Waves (quick service) offers nice choices for hot and cold food, just no inside seating and the no-see-ums are no joke! Beach has been recently refurbished by the county but still has a steep grade to it.

This was a DVC stay with extended family of 9. We had a 2 bedroom lock off on 2nd floor with a slight Oceanview. We all loved the set up, the only downside was the air conditioning vent in bedroom are at ceiling and blow cold air at your head when in bed. It was easy to get housekeeping if you needed resupplied. Pool and slide was very nice!! Miniature golf was nice, we all played pool. We saw tracks of sea turtles and roped off nests but not the turtles. Ocean water was warm but rough while there.

The resort is absolutely beautiful! Rooms were immaculate and perfect for our family of 3. The beach was beautiful and pool wasn’t too crowded. The only thing that’s not ideal is that there are no other restaurants close by. I was not impressed with the food at all and wish I could have left property to get lunch etc. I will definitely go back!

Family of four. Suite was misleadingly small. Pullout bed was larger than the bed itself (at best a full size). When we woke up for breakfast we were some of the first to the restaurant at 8am. Reservation was required. The general store doesn’t open til 9. As an aside they started locking the doors of that general store 20 min before its posted close the night before - I was able to get them to let me in to buy waters at $4 each. Room is musty. Pretty frustrating experience all around.
