Beautiful area and nice views. Modest house reflective of age and price. Issue is that the rooms have no sound insulation and your hear everything through the connecting dooor to the unit next door. If that’s not an issue, great. But warm and ok inside.

Honestly, the rating of the place can not be taken seriously. It is extremely noisy with no isolation at all. How do you expect people to enjoy their stay like this? This makes me question previous reviews.

We stayed upstairs in the 2 bedroom unit which was HUGE! Separate dining and lounge areas with views of Waikawa Harbour and the birdlife from all the front rooms and deck. The resident Kereru (wood pigeon) and piwakawaka (fantails) kept us entertained. Spotlessly clean and the owner was friendly.
