Great location right next door to the Cracker Barrel, 5 miles from great downtown Walterboro. Free concert at downtown Wildlife Center with Folley Pirates over 40 a Coral reefer cover band and great downtown restaurants.

My husband and I were passing through Walterboro and decided to stop in at this hotel to spend the night. We checked in and was assigned a room on the first floor. The room was creepy, decrepit and just there was a weird odor. My first thought was “This is a Wyndham property?!?! The doors needed to be painted and there was mold in the bathroom and in the bedroom and the carpet was filthy. I slept on top of the sheet and just waited for morning to come because I was so uneasy! With the odor and filthy look, I was wondering if there were also bedbugs around. Never again!!!!!!!! Lesson learned!!!!!!

We will not return. Old tired rooms, paint chipped, old uncomfortable beds, stale musty rooms. Smelled like old cooking oil inside and outside rooms. Noisy. Heater/air conditioning unit very loud. Cats howling all night. Very disappointing.

Last.minute.stay due.to traffic on my commute and it.was.a last minute reservation. Place needs tlc, pet friendly I think. Room not too clean. Dirty mirror as I walked in the room, paint peeling off the door as I closed it. Bathroom very small with sink outside of it. Dirty carpet! Place needs alot of TLC to keep up with other options to stay for the night.as you travel the East coast

Walterboro is a good place to stop with lots of hotel options to suit your budget. Cracker Narrel is across the street from the hotel in easy walking distance to stretch your legs after spending time in your car.

Nice room, professional staff, easy check in. We were missing a bath towel in our bathroom, but went back to the front desk, and was given one immediately. Can't complain about this room. Enough breakfast, too. We'll stay there again.

Dirty room, door did not close properly to the point where I had to place a chair and my luggage in front of the door to feel some sort of safety. Paint was coming off the inside of the door, ac was not working properly. I needed a place to rest during my trip, there were 3 other hotels in the area but there were no vacancies, making this dump my only option. It seemed the night clerk was sleeping since it took over 5 minutes for her to come to the night window, only pleasant experience was the morning clerk, she was very friendly and apologetic.

Staff was great. Check in seemed to take a while however. Room needs to be updated. Had a musty smell to it . It did not have mini fridge and microwave as listed. It is a convenient location. Breakfast was good.
