We stayed at the Knights Village for 2 Knights and enjoyed our stay, the initial welcome at reception was very efficient and helpful. We were fortunate to have a Woodland Lodge in a lovely setting where the balcony overlooked the river which gave us privacy when sitting outside having an evening drink. Many other lodges have no privacy where the balcony bench faces the wooden walkway. There are no other nearby places to sit outside, no picnic tables, or benches. The beds were a good size and very comfortable. The bathroom and shower area is a good size and the shower was powerful. Unable to switch on the bathroom towel radiator which was reported. The Lodges are semi detached and sound insulation is not very good. There is a kettle, tea and coffee, no fridge. It is a long walk from the car park to the Knights Village however there is a drop off area for 1 or 2 cars next to the Knights Village reception building which saves you carrying your suitcases, if you can locate it as it is not signposted or publicised. We walked right past it into another car park. Generally the signposting to the Knights Village and Castle once you pass the entrance is poor. Its good there are several security personnel there guiding the traffic and they guided some cars to the drop off area. We only used the restaurant for breakfast due to reading poor reviews on quality and dinner pricing. It’s £24.75 for the carvery plus £5.75 for a desert. We had a good quality meal in Town for a similar price.. The Town is a 10 minute uphill walk with a few restaurants and there is a Chinese takeaway 3 minutes walk from the access entrance. The breakfast was generally good, there is a large choice of items, staff were very helpful. The first day they ran out of fried eggs and it took over 15 minutes to arrive on the buffet and the second day after enquiring fried eggs were not being served at all. It can get very busy around 9am. We visited the Castle which has a picturesque setting, we enjoyed walking to the top of the battlements. Many food kiosks and stalls like archery were closed, apparently as it was not a peak day, or weekend. What was a lovely surprise was the War of the Roses Jousting Show which was on for about 30 minutes and top quality, great story telling with several actors. I thought it was very experienced horse riders jousting, only to see near the end, they were incredibly skilled trick horse riders, highly recommended. Overall an enjoyable stay, partially due to reading previous helpful reviews.

Been to Warwick castle several times over the years, with children and now just as a couple, this time we stayed for 2 nights in one of there Knights lodges was excellent accommodation seemed to be insulated from noise as we didn't hear any noise from the adjoining Lodge, breakfast was good very well catered for and plenty, we tried the carvery on one evening, I would say fair, as there didn't seem much choice of vegetables for the price, and the gravy was not very nice, i think is was just granules mixed with hot water, but it was addiquate for us. We would probably go out into Warwick next time for dinner. We were joined by two knights going from table to table in character very good especially for the children. One letdown was they didn't have many of the food outlets open around the grounds outside the castle, so limited choice of what was available. Overall experience was excellent as every time we visit they have added or improved some aspect of the festivities and castle and we will definitely stay and visit again, as they have a new Hotel being finished in July 24, and is already available to book.

Great accomodation, bunk beds for the kids. Good sized double bed for adults. Thick pillows. Nice clean facilities. Idillic setting amongst the trees by the River Avon. Kids entertainment in the evening was brilliant, archery, knight school, princess school, kept them going for hours. Buffet breakfast in the morning was very nice.

The room was fantastic kids loved everything but the restaurant was ridiculous overpriced and no options all we had to choose from was pork or chicken and veg was carrots 3 pieces of broccoli and a few peas there was plenty of carrots and parsnips but at £25 a plate it's ridiculous there small plates are a sandwich plate at best would never eat hear again just a blatant rip off

We decided to add to our visit to Warwick Castle with a stay at the Knights Village and were surprised at how much we enjoyed it. We stayed in one the lodges and although small were perfectly fine for one nights stay as they had all the amenities that we needed. They are situated in an enclosed area next to the river and you feel safe there so can let your children play without too many issues. As we were with our son we did all the evening entertainment that was on offer starting with story time with Zog and then ending with the Knight School. The actors who were in the Knight school were brilliant and were great with the kids and entertaining for the adults. Food wise we did the Carvery buffet in the evening which although a bit pricey at around £25 an adult and £15 a child (Drinks and dessert extra) we found there was plenty of food on offer to keep us happy. Breakfast which is included with your stay was a standard breakfast hot and cold buffet which again we found plenty to eat but maybe did need a few more varieties of sweet items as it was just croissants and pan au chocolate. Overall we had a great stay and would consider coming again sometime.

Having read some reviews before going, we had pretty good expectations for the day out at the castle itself, but pretty middling expectations of the Knights Village, and especially low ones of the food. But the whole experience was brilliant. We were a group of 8 (4 adults, 4 children ages 9, 6, 3 & 1) who all had a great time. The restaurant has definitely taken on board feedback, as we loved it. It was a carvery, but with lots of options, including really good veggie and vegan. But then also, sausages, chicken goujons, beans etc. It's not cheap, but then the whole weekend wasn't going to be cheap, and it was better than many carveries for a comparable price per head. The real crowning jewel of the trip was the staff; they were all absolutely excellent across the board. Particularly the costumed staff in the Knight's Village on the Friday night (Sir Phil and Sir Dean, apologies that I can't remember the names of the others) who made our stay there so special. The staff in guest services and in the restaurant were excellent, especially Mike who was so helpful and accommodating. Throughout the whole time there, every member of staff; whether in costume or in uniform were fantastic. All the shows in the Castle were great, we went to some of them twice. Highly recommend as a big blowout treat, not exactly a shoestring visit!

Room ok bed very comfy with great pillows. Accessible room booked but no blue badge parking close only one drop off point outside reception which had works van in. Could not find any blue badge parking in main car park and car park for Knights Village not clearly signposted. Had to walk a long way to reception with disability which was difficult. Carvery in restaurant in evening had run out of beef at 6 pm with only about 4/5 tables being used - very disappointing and not worth the £25 for main meal with salad (only lettuce, toms, cucumber, carrot and coleslaw). Breakfast was very good though and no complaint.

Lovely peaceful surroundings with wooden lodges, and tents scattered around in amongst the trees and wildlife. The lodges are very clean and compact, however there’s not a fridge as advertised and the facilities vary in each lodge. Reception staff were lovely checking in was easy. The restaurant food was very poor , cold, chewy meat, staff disinterested, it’s a free for all, chaotic. The price is extortionate for the quality. We were a group of six and booked our meal slots but your table isn’t reserved you just sat where you could. Breakfast was very disappointing food cold , waited for food to be replenished, even that was cold. Staff disappeared several times into the kitchen or outside which meant you were waiting for food to be bought out. I will say there was one young man who was incredibly helpful but he was the only one. The evening entertainment was great the actors and activities were pitched to the audience age range. There was even a bar for the adults to enjoy. Overall the atmosphere, facilities and accommodation was excellent , but the restaurant has a very very long way to go to reach a decent standard.
