Beware. DON'T STAY AT THIS MOTEL! The owner (aka Deslie) is rude and in fact a thief who won't return things left in the room accidently. When asked to have them returned she was always too busy. Stay at The Coachman instead... much nicer rooms (and staff) who appreciate the business guests bring!

After paying for the rooms I found I paid more than the agreed amount. When I questioned why, I was told this was the GST component added. When I questioned that cost, their story quickly changed to a surcharge that "all" motels add on and no explanation of why it was there. It felt like this was a sneaky cost being added, hoping I would not notice. This was a tour booking and my intention was to come back with return business. However, I would NOT recommend this motel with their underhanded way of adding sneaky fees.

everything was great accept the shower , pity the manager wasnt more approachable about it. in her picture online she has a cross around her neck and she definitely wasnt christlike in anyway the room really was great ,accept the shower you needed to wear thongs in it , not really acceptable considering the reviews online (hence we chose the place ) not sure what other rooms were like without doing a survey but there was no way bleach or something substantial used in there for quite a long time let alone a scrub brush

Such a lot of thought went into everything at this motel. The manager was very friendly and welcoming. There were bath robes provided, face cleansing pads, biscuits , squeegee for cleaning the car window, you could access U Tube on the Tele, internet was good. It felt a lot more warm and pleasant than many others that we have stayed in . The thoughtful extras meant a lot. We can highly recommend. Thank you. Jean and Steve UK

We were in Room 3 for one night. The room was clean except for some mould in the shower. The bed was comfortable. There was all you could need for a short stay. There were nice extra touches like two Mentors on the cups and, in a nod to the future, a Tesla charging station. But there is one thing that can't be changed. It's on a bend on the highway and it's on a rise out of the town. And the highway carries a lot of trucks. And the trucks run all night. So if you are a light sleeper you will get an interrupted sleep. I slept well but I always sleep well. My wife didn't sleep well.

This is an older motel, but don’t let that sway you Impeccably clean rooms, I had a very enjoyable and comfortable stay. Comfy bed with pristine linen . Nothing to fault ! Quiet even though close to main road. Hosts are very friendly and helpful . Budget priced.

Lovely motel. Friendly and courteous owner’s. Nice and clean. The only down side was the traffic noise trucks but I like to sleep with windows open so my fault. Has iron and ironing board plus bath robe. Can definitely recommend.

Value for money, very clean spotless room, with extra appreciated thoughtful touches to make your stay very comfortable.Friendly family run motel. A little road noise, but nothing to complain about. Undercover parking outside room. We will certainly stay again.

Fantastic value for money. Although the motel is right on a busy road there was very little if any noise. The room was spacious, clean and quiet. The room exceeded my expectations for the price. Hot shower, comfy bed, table & chairs, microwave & toaster and a comfy lounge to chill out on. And undercover parking for each room which was handy. Will definitely be back in the future with family as a stopover point.
