First of all, you need to pay an extra destination fee, which is a ridiculous expense. Is it considered a tip? In addition, you have to use valet parking. The location is very convenient, there are many cafes and restaurants around, try not to live in a room facing the street, it is too noisy at night. Don’t include breakfast either. Stayed here for company meeting and had a great experience. Was able to check in early. I stayed in 620 which is one of the larger rooms (1.5 bays) which was clean, spacious and comfortable. Our catered lunches for our company meeting were very well done. We have braised short rib and vegetables for one lunch and a sandwich table the next. Execution was flawless. I ate dinner one night at lobby bar and the food and service were very good. The great experience came in the M lounge. While the food and drinks were good, the staff was over the top friendly and kept the area clean. Finally, one of the friendliest staff in the M lounge sang happy birthday to me with my work colleagues and made a strawberry cheesecake plate for my birthday (see photo below). Great service and food made for a very successful company event. The experience was so good we rebooked for next year.

The staff was fantastic! We were there for a 3-days' worth of meetings, and it was fantastic. Food was great, meeting / catering staff were attentive and very helpful. Rooms were spacious and clean! They also assisted in finding us activities to do off property as a group.

Great hotel! Was here for a meeting. AC was very strong in the meeting room. Room was clean and comfortable. Had a nice cocktail at the bar one night as well. You can tell it's a buzzy bar/restaurant and lots of people were enjoying themselves.

Great experience at the Marriott. Meetings and food were good. I like the little pillow spray they gave me! No coffee shop but there was coffee at the bar. Great location too! My room was clean and I had a great stay. I would stay here again. Recommend!

Great location, staff and amenities. Crystal and the entire team ensured our group event turned out flawlessly! I am certain we would be back! Also, the location in DC made it very easy to access the sights in the city! Would definitely recommend!

Lovely, clean hotel , very comfy room. All staff very friendly and helpful. Special shout out to Aretha and Raul at the front desk, they made my stay all that much more enjoyable, went above and beyond. Our professional conference there was seamless, meals provided by hotel were for the most part very nice, above the norm. Lots of great food choices very close by. Lobby and lobby bar have nice vibe, but drinks and service inconsistent. Only other caveat, parking expensive compared to very nearby public lots.

Hotel staff was unfriendly, the rooms and hallways are hot and humid. The room felt like a dungeon with a tiny window over not even looking out at the city but the other side of the building. They charged the wrong card on file even though I asked twice to confirm they charged the other card since I was traveling for work. The front desk couldn’t give me an itemized bill, I was them asking the person helping my with luggage and they were magically able to get one. I ended up checking it early and going to a different hotel- The Westin which was was better. I went back to the hotel once I realize they charged the wrong card and they said there’s nothing they could do now I’d have to call billing. Horrible experience, there are way better hotels in DC- start elsewhere.

A few quibbles - the breakfasts were over-priced for instance but overall I wanted to say how brilliant the staff and service were even though the place was 100% full. The manager should be very proud, cleaning was first rate, a problem in our bathroom was fixed by a maintenance woman, the front of desk did everything they could to help make our stay and visit to Washington work. The staff in the restaurant were especially professional and freindly and made us feel like proper guests not just customers. Well done.

Nice stay at Marriott Georgetown. Big thank you to Deanna at the front desk who went out to her way to help find us a room that met our needs. My husband stays at this hotel often for work so I appreciate the extra effort made by her. The restaurant staff in morning was also very attentive and food was delicious. The breakfast food in M club could use some work. It all seemed very greasy, only melons for fruit, no berries offered (like at the restaurant) and only Activia brand yogurt which I do not like, How about some Chobani? Also, in afternoon could you offer ice tea as an option in fridge and not just sodas?

An okay hotel between Georgetown and Downtown. Getting a bit outdated, and it was a very dark room. Mattresses need to be replaced. A better pillow selection is needed. It was clean enough. Basic if you need a few nights. Might be better for a business traveller than a couples trip.

Amazing hotel with the best service. Ashley, Dianna and Morgan were amazing made sure everything was seamless with our trip and went over and behind to make ensure our trip was fabulous. The restaurant was delicious and we loved the extra perks of hop on hop off bus that was included in the resort fee. Loved every minute. So central and fun. Would only stay here every time we come.

I paid $1316.02 on 21st Jan on my day of arrival from my SCB Travel Card(debit card) as an advance, as I did not have a credit card. However, upon checkout, my total bill amounted to $1079.48 only and the receptionist mentioned that the rest would be returned to my account in 2 weeks. However, it has been more than TWO months from the date of my checkout and I have not received the excess amount in my account yet. Tried emailing the hotel multiple times but did not get any response. Worst Customer Service!!!

This is a well located hotel offering clean comfortable rooms at a reasonable price. There is plenty of bars, restaurants within walking distance too. The bed was comfortable and the hotel was quiet. The shower was good and check-in was easy.
