A nice hotel. The hotel is not far from Congress, and the only drawback is that there are no slippers in the room and there is no place to buy them around.

Nice big hotel, but not the cleanest. Found several different hairs in the shower, bathroom and by the bed that weren’t mine and they were different colors. Bed was comfy and the gym was really good (new, huge and clean), because it’s a private gym for people who live in the luxury building across the street. Check-in staff were friendly :).

The room is very big, and the bed is wide. It is said that it can accommodate three to four people. I originally booked a twin room for my son to stay with me. The hygiene is also OK. There is a supermarket across the street for convenient living. However, I found that the room was not cleaned on the second day. It doesn't matter if I live alone. The room is not messy. However, the drinking water was not replenished. Two fist-sized bottles of water were given on the first day. I returned to the hotel at around 9 o'clock on the second night and found that there was no water. I wanted to go to the supermarket to buy some, but it was closed. Check in was smooth. Hotel very clean. Staff friendly and accommodating. I had the corner room which was nice and a view of the city. Went on a Sunday so street parking was free other than that it’s a parking lot across the street that costs $50. It’s located in a great area anywhere you may want to go is within a 10 minute radius. I really loved the room and the hotel was peaceful and quiet

My stay was wonderful and delightful. I especially liked to bring big attentions to Tiffany. She is such a gem with a bright spirit. Most of all her acknowledgment to guest and others is such top tier. She is the reason I will be back. 1 small detail is the shower pressure very low and barely any coming out of the shower head.

This was my first time in DC and I loved it not because this hotel is beautiful and impeccable but because of the staff. Tiffany at the front desk helped me get the checkout I needed and encouraged me before my big presentation. Raykisha welcomed me each morning for breakfast. Ms. P talked to me like I was her own son. I love this place, and because of them I love DC. I’ll be back soon.

Convenient location with a super friendly staff. Great gym across the driveway in an adjacent building. Staff walks you over there but it's quick and easy. Breakfast is offered on a top floor with views of the Capitol. Great barista in the lobby. Only issue was the room. Shower water pressure was very weak and the bathroom lacked basic toiletries typically provided to guests.

I stayed two nights at the AC Hotel for a business trip. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive to my needs. The rooms were nice and spacious and the beds were very comfortable. There was also the plus of Whole Foods being located directly across the street. The hotel rests in a very central area to so many things/

I was here last week or so having breakfast with my friend. We had the pleasure of speaking with a lovely team member named”Rakicia” I believe. As we were holding a conversation with her, we hear which looked like a manager/supervisor yelling her name across the area. It was very confusing and unprofessional. We thought we got the young lady in trouble but I guess the lady didn’t want her talking with guests. I have visited AC plenty of times and I love the young ladies that work the breakfast there always nice & attentive but maybe you’ll should consider who leads the team.

I was stayed at the hotel September 2-4. On the September 2 I had arrived from a long drive and I wanted to check into my room and grab a drink. I went down to the bar in the lobby (I stay at the hotel once a quarter) I got down to the lobby around 4:30 and was just waiting. There was a woman setting up the bar and she spoke to me with so much attitude basically yelled at me that the bar wasn’t opened yet. She was extremely rude and was pissed that I was waiting for the bar to open. Devon the bartender showed up and was very kind. She explained to me she was still setting up but if I requested something simple she would accommodate me. She gave me a vodka soda and I waited. While the set up was happening I’m guessing “ the manager” was behaving like a baboon beating its chest to establish power. She was speaking/yelling at Devon about Marriott standards and lighting. She made the lights so bright in the lobby it was like the gates of heaven had arrived. Then the ironic part was is she didn’t know how to turn them back down. She was saying some pretty ridiculous thing's about Marriott and standards. She was also bad mouthing other team members saying she was the manager and nothing that anyone else says matters. I stay at Marriotts over 200 nights a year and I stay at this property about 10 nights a year I have never seen a more unprofessional, rude manager. It is funny that she is the manager of the lobby bar because the bartenders I had are great!
