Old furniture, but ok It was noisy Totally with this price is really good deal! Location was nice

The location is excellent, the bus to the airport and key places are just infront of the hotel. Taco bell and AbraKEBABra (best kebab) and other eatery surround the place from Chinese, Italian, Indian, Turkish, etc. Cuba Street, Courtenay, Lambton Quay are within reach. Definitely the best! Receptionist is not always around but they're just a phone call away. I hope you can add toothbrush and toothpaste as well.

DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!! THIS IS NOT a HOTEL My room was absolutely FILTHY!!! There was even human snot rubbed on the walls!!!! Staff were extremely rude upon arrival and when I checked back out minutes later. I do not recommend this place at all. Yes it’s cheap but the photos and descriptions are deceptive as this is not clean, safe or somewhere you could get some sleep. This place is the worst ‘hotel’ I’ve ever stayed in after months of travel around India and south east Asia I did not feel safe or relaxed to stay here as a lone female traveller. This property is not a hotel and should NOT be on trip.com. There was Mould, demolition waste, thick dust, a filthy shower that I wouldn’t use or I’d have caught an infection, blinds that don’t work, half the window had no blinds right by the shower so anyone could see you from the adjacent buildings if you risked using the shower, theres a huge water pipe with rushing water running from floor to ceiling, loud music playing, people shouting, paper the walls,

A very interesting hotel located in the centre of town, easy to get everywhere, comfortable room.

Facilities were budget and service poor. Staff showed little interest in connecting and were 'bored' at best. Rooms were loud, dirty, and general building seemed poorly maintained. Floorboards incredibly echoey and squeaky, pipes constantly hissing when neighbouring rooms were showering.

Place is dirty and doesn't seem to get cleaned in the rooms or in the common area!

The pictures online are deceiving. The first room stank of pee! They then put us in another one with no windows and it was noisy with the air vents blowing into the room. The corridors stink of Jeyes fluid. An absolute crap stay the Aura Hotel, it should be shut down!

Where to begin? Pay for room in advance but they won't check you in without a credit card. That is IF you can find someone at the desk. They may or may not be there and if they are there they have no desire to come and serve you unless you shout to get their attention. The rooms are painted concrete cubes with light coming in through windows at the top of the wall. Paint doesnt even go all the way ip the walls. The light comes on and off all night through the windows every time someone uses the corridor. There is zero soundproofing and we were kept awake all night by the kids having a party at the lounge at the end of the corridor. Couldn't get anyone to come and ask them to be quiet because no one at the desk at night. Bathroom door didn't shut properly for privacy. It was cut the wrong size. Room was filled with a hodge podge of seriously shabby second hand furniture. The beds were clean and comfortable which was the one saving grace but due to the noise and light from the windows we had no sleep. Oh and no shower box just a curtain so water all over the bathroom floor. This was the biggest rip off for money. I have stayed at better hostels and back packers than this place. Corridor was filled with bags of dirty linen and broken and abandoned furniture.

In a hotel run by Indians, there is no one at the front desk after 7:00 p.m. I booked online for the first time and went there at 9:00 p.m. I waited at the entrance of the hotel for almost an hour and couldn’t get in. Later, I called and told the front desk There is a password for the key box at the door to enter. After entering, the corridor inside has an unpleasant smell of humidity. After entering the room, the quilt and pillow smell disgusting. There is no bathroom in the room, only one. A simple shower room, but the faucet was still broken, so I stayed for one night and left in a hurry the next morning. The accommodation fee is almost 500 RMB. I didn't want to comment at first, but I just hope that no one will step into the pit like me.
