We have always enjoyed staying at QT Museum Hotel. We were given the option to upgrade to a Seaview room on the top floor with an additional charge. Seeing it is a more quiet room compared to my booking request on the 1st floor near road traffic and rubbish bin area, I paid the extra for the upgrade per night for 2 nights. Our room was not serviced well the following day. Rubbish bin in the bathroom being the only one was not emptied. The Bath and Shower gel was not replenished, we had to asked for it to be refilled. the cushions on the bed was still on the floor from the night before, the ironing board was still left out - I did not put it back as the iron was still very hot after ironing my dress for my conference that morning. The gym facilities was very tired with all towels being used and the used towels bin was overflowing. I was very disappointed with my stay this trip, using shortage of staff since Covid is a very old excuse now. Systems and procedures should be in placed by management to ensure the 5 star ratings is upheld. No point upselling or selling more rooms if they cannot keep customers happy to come back again. This was not only my opinion but that of my colleagues. very disappointing!

I agonised for weeks over which inner city hotel to book for our overnighter in Wellington, and I’m pleased to say QT met my hopes and dreams. We arrived to find the hotel in controlled chaos due to an International Rugby event, but we’re eventually warmly received by reception and made at home in the bar until our room was ready. We loved the pool and spa, the size of the room and bathtub, the art, the glitz and glam, the location, AND the excellent buffet breakfast. Would love to come again!

Also called QT Hotel, because of its name, the museum hotel uses a lot of modern art works in its decoration, especially in the public areas, which is unique and full of artistic atmosphere. The hotel bar and restaurant are OK, and the front desk is open 24 hours. Since it is a serviced apartment hotel, there are kitchen equipment in the room, as well as washing and drying machines. There is a large supermarket "New World" outside the hotel, which makes it very convenient to buy vegetables and cook by yourself. Everything is good. It is located in the bay, only 500 to 800 meters away from the city center. There are many restaurants on the pier, as well as a food city. One of the seafood restaurants with Antarctic crabs as a gimmick is good.

Opposite is the depapa museum. You can see it from your room. There is a new world supermarket within walking distance. There is a kitchen in the room that you can use.

The location is very good and close to the pier museum. The supporting environment and services are also OK😌

The room is large and you can cook your own meals. There are tableware and all appliances. It is like a small home. The hotel environment is very good. The location is convenient for frying chicken. It is very close to the museum and there is a new world supermarket next to it.
