Premier Inn West Bromwich Town Centre (New Square)

VAN BROKEN INTO TWICE. We stayed at the hotel for a week. Contractors be very careful. We parked there on a Monday night at 8:30pm and the van was broken into literally 3 hours later. If you are going to park your work van I would make sure you have NOTHING in it. We parked for 3 nights and on the Wednesday night the van was broken into again. The first night they broke into the side door of our transit custom. We then made sure they couldn’t try that again so on the Wednesday night they smashed the window to gain entry and open the van from inside the cab. Admittedly the hotel can’t do anything to prevent this other than repair the CCTV which was conveniently broken. I just want to write this review because 2 other companies vans had theirs damaged and theives attempted to gain entry, so please be careful if you are planning on bringing a van full of tools to the car park because you have no option to leave them on site.

Enjoyed our stay, easy to find from the motorway (roads very busy), friendly staff, clean and comfortable room, great air con and a lovely breakfast, shopping centre just across the road, Handy for the Hawthorns, would happily stay again in the future.

Arrived early, dropped bag off and signed in car for free parking, then went off for the pubs and match. came back in the evening picked bag up and went to room. All really clean and shower was great. all quiet and comfy, left early for trip back. perfect in all ways, wish I had time for breakfast.

Excellent service, very welcoming. Breakfast choice was good. We come back twice a year to watch the football, go shopping. Local transport easy to use.

We booked an overnight stay as we were off to see the Albion play. Just a few minutes from the stadium. We had booked the accessible room as my husband uses a wheelchair. The room was 101 on the first floor closest to the lift. We were very impressed. Bed was huge and the space around it was very big. Bathroom had a sliding door and plenty of rails. Definitely return Hospitality fantastic

The staff at the hotel were amazing when me and my MIL stayed whilst my partner was in the nearby hospital. They were so lovely; taking the time to ask about him and support us with what we needed. The breakfasts were amazing and the room was very comfortable and just what we needed. Thank you all so so much ❤️

This is a lovely hotel that we chose due to price and proximity to the M5, as we were travelling from the South West to the North West and needed a base for a couple of nights at the half-way point without diverting too far off route. We were pleasantly surprised on arrival to find free parking on site as the hotel website suggested that the parking was very limited and chargeable. Although the carpark isn't huge, we arrived after 9pm on both nights of our stay and there were a few spaces available. Should the carpark be full, there is a very large Tesco / shopping centre across the road which offers plenty of parking at a low cost. Check in was efficient and staff were very friendly in welcoming us. We had a lovely surprise on entering our room - a lovely handmade Easter card and a Creme Egg for each of us (we were a family of 4). We found this to be a nice touch that you don't expect from a budget hotel. The room and bathroom were clean and tidy and the beds comfortable. The only ******* were that our upstairs neighbours were incredibly noisy late at night (it sounded like they had kids jumping off the beds onto the floor) which wasn't the fault of the hotel at all but made it difficult for us to fall asleep. We also would have appreciated more tea / coffee / milk (although there are plenty of spares available to collect from reception, we needed to refill after a single cuppa, bearing in mind there were 4 of us in the room). As an added bonus, there is an Amazon locker located just outside the door to the hotel which was very handy when I needed to make an emergency purchase. I would absolutely stay here again.

Good location. Large car park and close to major link roads. Very clean and comfortable rooms, managed to have a good night sleep. check in was very quick & efficient, wanted to spend some time in the bar but unfortunately they wasn’t enough time.

When on arrival the lady assisted me called laverne she’s amazing friendly down to earth warming welcome and stay I will be back again ! Next time I’ll stay longer because the rooms are cozy and clean accessible and quiet nice calm area and nice to get away !
