Just stunningly beautiful, both the inn and the grounds. Immaculate, comfortable, beautifully appointed rooms and common areas. Gorgeous flowers and lovely breakfast outside. Good location. Highly recommend. Meri is a lovely innkeeper.

I desperately needed a place to get away to in order to unwind and sort some things out. This was the perfect place! The setting is so quiet and peaceful. Honestly, everything was perfect, from the room, the gathering places, and the beautifully presented breakfast. There was nothing left to chance. Every place you looked was beautifully appointed. The owner and the staff were eager to engage in pleasant conversation. You couldn't help but feel so much at home here! I truly did not want to leave! I will be back again, for sure.

Nine of us. . . . Longtime college pals stayed at The Westbrook in August for two nights. We were all attending a wedding in nearby Old Saybrook. A wonderful experience !!! Immaculately clean, quaint, with a small town feel. The manager and the owner were very attentive, helpful and did their best to make sure we all were having a great stay. There is a firepit on the grounds where we all met each night with our own cocktails to reminisce and relax. The grounds are well-maintained, the rooms are very tidy, with ability to control our own air conditioning. The breakfast was delightful, served with a smile from 8-9 am each day. I would highly recommend staying at the Westbrook.

This is the most incredible bed and breakfast we’ve ever stayed at. The breakfast, service & rooms are excellent! The attention to detail of the decor is impeccable. They have a private river dock and are a short walk to the ocean. They have great amenities offered and have the kindest staff. Can’t recommend this place more.

The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was great! Everyone was so friendly and went above and beyond to welcome us. They even accommodated our dietary needs and served us a vegan breakfast. We used the bikes to go to the beach and get to know the area. Can't wait to stay again.

Good breakfast, yummy snacks very clean, convenient area use of chairs umbrella and towels for the beach w,/ a pass awesome ! Games too loved the 2 suites up stairs w/ deck!! Looking forward to return next year again, my friends loved it, I have been there many times and love it!

Comfortable room, delicious breakfast, and nice amenities (we took advantage of the complimentary kayaks - we saw heron, egrets, osprey, and ducks in our trek down the meandering tidal river). Great location and recommendations for touring the area. Owner is personable and aims to please.
