Off the beaten track a 4*4 is nice to have in order to reach this accommodation. Once there it is magnificent. Having no wifi or fridge in your own room looks strange, but forces the guests to the main veranda. Wonderful to talk to the other guests there in one of the couches. The interior of the restaurant/lounge is fantastic. Old world charm.

We had a couple of wonderful days in a very very nice Location in an african lodge. Located in the Mountains we had a stunning View from our accomodation over the Landscape. A very Special place with very friendly and caring staff. Highly recommended!

This place was EVERYTHING!!! would stay here again in a heartbeat amazing staff amazing amenities beautiful view!!! Clear skies, this was my favorite part about South Africa. As far as the road we took a super small car up with no issues would’ve opted for something with bigger tires though. STAY HERE!!!

Just outside of Addo National Park and we had intended going there for a game drive but Camp Figtree was to good we didn't venture out and enjoyed our time there. We were in tent 4 - the furthest away and we enjoyed the peace and remoteness but do take a torch as it's pitch black to try and find the key hole in the door to get back in the tent after dinner. There is no kettle in the room but they bring a flask of boiling water to your tent at 6.30am for an early morning cuppa and you can take a flask back to the tent in the evening. The food was very good and there was a wide variety of drinks. A couple of things to be improved upon - we had no idea how much the evening meal was as there was no price on the menu unlike the lunchtime menu: the GM was unaware of this and will update the menus. There are no details as to what activities are available and the prices - this is also going to be rectified. There are numerous signed walking and biking trails from the lodge but again no maps or details of how far - this is also going to be addressed. We had a fabulous time at Camp Figtree and wont hesitate to recommend it.

Wir hatten ein Zelt, das war wirklich gut. Auf der Terrasse hat man einen mega guten Ausblick, fast einzigartig. Leider hatten wir schlechtes Wetter und wir sassen zum Abendessen im Restaurant. Die Loge ist im Country Stil und für mich etwas zu dunkel und düster im Innenbereich. Wir kamen mittags an und da es regnete, fand ich es dort etwas zu langweilig, da es nichts gab. Für eine Nacht war es gut. Das Team war prima und hat uns bestens empfangen. Man merkt aber, dass diese Lodge etwas größer ist, wir sind verwöhnt von den kleineren Lodges. Alles in allem war es aber in Ordnung. Und dafür, das eine Rainspider nachts in unserem Zimmer sass, konnte ja keiner etwas :-)
