26 years ago we made Tsitsikamma Lodge our first stop on our honeymoon. We sent an incredible few days then and vowed to return every year. We have taken so many friends over the years and always returned, as we promised ourselves, and seen a few changes to management but the tranquility, comfort and friendliness of staff has never changed. From the amazing reception staff to the greatest chef in the world, our fabulous Nicky, no other place pits a smile on my face like the Lodge. I have travelled to more than 40 countries, lived in exquisite places but coming back to the Lodge every year is always the greatest treat. Looking forward to celebrating number 27 next year.

Beautiful facility in the Tsitsikamma Forest. It was very nice staying at this lodge for 2 nights. This is a B& B facillty and everything is very neat. You get a good breakfast and if through the day, you need anything, there is a restaurant, bar and small shop. The only negative thing I can add is that our power at the unit tripped all day, as soon as the geyser was on. I did report this to management.

Beautiful relaxing setting, delicious breakfast. Full body massage was amazing and the Spa Staff were very friendly.

What a lovely property. The grounds are beautifully maintained. Units are extremely comfortable and I am surprised that their grading had not increased to at least a 4star. Breakfast and dinner were delicious with a great spread to keep us full for the day. Although the temperature dropped to minus, the units and bedding are warm. Staff are friendly and helpful. Next time we will spend more days with our family to enjoy the surrounding areas.

Wir haben noch nie einen Ort erlebt bei dem Bilder und Beschreibung so voneinander abgewichen haben. Diese Anlage wird seit jahren jerunter gewirtschaftet. Dusche funktioniert nicht (Wasseramatur ist defekt und kann auch in einem Tag nicht ersetzt werden), AC funktioniert nicht als Heizung, alles feucht und kalt. Essen? Ausser billig nicht zu empfehlen! Wusste nicht, dass man eine Pizza in der Mikrowelle ohne Backfunktion machen kann. Jetzt schon!

It was an absolute pleasure staying at Tstsikamma Lodge and Spa. The location and surroundings of the lodge is beautiful. Our room was neat and clean and very comfortable. We enjoyed the pool table in the games room very much. The staff were superb and the buffet breakfast and dinner was absolutely delicious. Next time i will definitely make time to check out the spa.

The chalets are fantastic. TV stations limited. Breakfast very good. The staff are pleasant and obliging and go out of their way to make the stay pleasant and enjoyable

This would be the worst hotel I’ve ever stayed in. The cabin was a A frame chalet style cabin. The only heating was a two bar dimplex heater. It did nothing to heat the cabin. Plus the signage on the back of the door stated if you wanted hot water do not use the heater . In the middle of winter the room was freezing. We took the two spare quilts from the bed’s upstairs in the mezzanine level. I did note the bed linen there had not been changed since the last people had left. You could see the indentations in the sheets.I did ask at reception for extra blankets and heater. They never came. No explanation given. I also had some laundry done as it was a two night stay. When I went to get my laundry, the staff didn’t know where it was. As I went to return to my room, I meet two sisters who had just left their cabin. When they opened the door, they saw two rats running from under a bed running into the bathroom. My laundry was returned by another guest, he was looking for his laundry. Mine had gone to his cabin. The dining room was heated by an open fire. Very nice to look at, but it didn’t warm the big open space. The overall experience was definitely not one I would repeat.
