Hampton Inn & Suites by Hilton Los Alamos White Rock

The front desk lady was rude and condescending. She made me feel unwelcome and was very confrontational. I wish I had her name because she should be fired for how she spoke to me and my partner. I stayed there one night and will never stay there again.

Great room, everything clean and worked well. Even had a exhaust fan in the bathroom. Breakfast = average Hampton Inn. E-check in and key on phone worked. Really like the Hilton Honors system. Due to issues with when we could travel I had to make and cancel this reservation 3 times before I actually used it. I was paying with points and when I cancelled two of the reservations (more than 24 hours ahead of time) they promptly added the points back to my account without further intervention from me.

We stayed twice at this hotel on our way out to the Grand Canyon and back in August and September 2024. The first night we stayed here we visited Bandolier National Park the following day. It was very convenient to the park. We got up early so we could drive our own vehicle to the park. If you go during the busy season between the hours of 9am and 3pm you must use Bandolier's shuttle service. Staying so close we were able to arrive about 7:30am. Besides the good location, this hotel is fairly new, the rooms were nice. The first night we had a regular room, the second night on the way back we got a suite. There was a grocery store, Smith's, approximately a block away. Diamond Member parking is not out in front of the door and in view of the registration desk as I prefer, but the town appears to be safe and clean and catering to tourists, so it was not something I was overly concerned about here. The front desk staff were nice, the breakfast was your typical Hampton Inn breakfast and looked good. The coffee was hot upon arrival and during breakfast. The suite we stayed in had a wet bar area that was convenient for cooking microwave food. We will definitely come back here sometime as we would like to spend some more time at Bandolier someday.

We stayed here on 7/30/24 in room 129. The hotel is easy to find, very close to the Bandelier White Rock VC and shuttle bus. It is next to a hardware store. There is plenty of free parking. The hotel and lobby both look very new and clean. Check in (normally 4 pm) was very good and we were able to get in around 3 pm. Room 129 is good sized, had a microwave, fridge and coffee maker. The bathroom was large and had plenty of counter space. The water pressure was good. The room was clean, beds were comfortable (small pillows) and quiet. The internet worked well. The hotel is about 30 to 40 min. from Bandelier (shuttle bus required up to 3pm leaves the VC every 1/2 hour). The hotel is about 20 min. from Los Alamos via Jemez road (a much better way to go than NM 502). The traffic from the lab is crazy try to avoid going to Los Alamos between 8 to 9 am and 4 to 6 pm . Breakfast was very good, even through the woman in charge of it, also had to cover the front desk. She did a great job juggling the two areas. We would stay here again

Staff is great. Christy the manager is very accommodating and very helpful. The gentlemen that does the house keeping is just fantastic and so friendly. The breakfast woman who does the setup was great and very hard working. Very pleasant experience. Very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was easy and each day changed up a little

Standard, older small (3 story) Hampton Inn. I have stayed in countless of these. Note: it is not in Los Alamos, it is in White Rock. So if your work is in Los Alamos, you will have to drive (maybe 8 mins or so) to get there. And most of the dining options are in Los Alamos. Free parking, next door is a hardware store and a taco place. Small exercise room has 1 treadmill, 1 elliptical, etc. Standard prefab breakfast (try Ruby's Bagels in Los Alamos). Didn't spend much time at hotel, so no idea about the pool. Room was fine, standard, TV worked fine, A/C worked fine, the shower head was old and the water pressure was very weak. Took a very long time to shower. Not too many choices, so as long as you have a car and can drive too and from LA, you'll be fine. If you want to be closer, there is a Holiday Inn Express.

Quick stop during a long road trip. Room was spacious, clean and comfortable and the front desk clerk (Sadie?) was very polite and friendly. Breakfast was better than most similar hotel offerings. Depending on day of the week, there aren't many restaurants available, so plan accordingly.

Very nice hotel. Clean and efficient. Large rooms with all you need. Breakfast, good and fresh. Great staff. Everyone friendly and helpful. Cookies available at the front desk, with tea and coffee available all day. Fitness room and sauna looked good.

This is a great hotel in pretty quiet town. Super clean, girl at the front counter, don't know her name but she had pink hair, was super nice and friendly had no problem getting extra towels and sheets. Breakfast was really good, yummy waffles.
