This hotel is simply outstanding! The food is incredible, and the staff are some of the friendliest I’ve ever encountered. I’ve visited many times, and it’s always a 10/10 experience. The new spa is truly remarkable – the largest and most impressive I’ve ever seen, with around five different saunas to enjoy. Even during a very busy time of year, the hotel never felt crowded, which is a rarity compared to other places. The dining experience was exceptional. The lasagne was the best I’ve ever tasted, and the roast beef served on New Year’s Eve was nothing short of Michelin-star quality. Emily, the manager, was always present and incredibly helpful, making sure everything ran smoothly. Special mention to the DJ, who played an excellent mix of music, including the unique local Dutch dance tracks, adding to the fantastic atmosphere. I can’t recommend this hotel enough – it truly sets the standard for hospitality!

We stayed for a ski holiday with a young family. Hospitality and food was good. Rooms were spacious although somewhat dated. The Spa and gym are excellent. Would come back. A short walk to the slopes. We rented a locker at the ski rental shop as this as closer to the slopes.

Positiv: Grosses Zimmer, Lage, Personal sehr zuvorkommend, viele Möglichkeiten auch ausserhalb des Zimmers eine gute Zeit zu verbringen, es wurde immer versucht auf unsere Bedürfnisse einzugehen, Frühstück vielseitig grosse Auswahl, Skikeller mit Heizung für die Skischuhe,
Negativ: ein Saunabereich Duschen defekt, es wird nicht auf die Einhaltung der Saunaregeln geachtet, aufgebackene Brötchen zum Frühstück, im Skikeller hatte sich im ganzen Raum, auch an den Sitzflächen in Skiverein rücksichtslos ausgebreitet.
Im grossen und ganzen hatten wir eine schöne Woche. Vielen Dank dafür.

Nice hotel in wonderful surroundings
Very nice hotel, perfect for the family. The kids especially enjoyed relaxing by the pool (either indoor or outdoor) after a day walking in the lovely Alps.
The dinners are typical Austrian (three course, soup, main and dessert) and might not suite everyone (been in Austria a lot myself though and find the arrangements very practical).

Awful. Not 4 star. Place is a building site. Paying for everything in cash and the owner is a millionaire …. 2 people got food poisoning. Salad looked off. Not good at all. Wouldn’t recommend and wouldn’t return. Can’t say anything nice about it.

Not a 4 star hotel. 2 people got food poisoning at the hotel and that had happened before apparently. Place was like a building site. Swimming pool should be open all year round. Food offerings weren’t very good, pretty certain the buffet made people ill. All drinks paid in cash (?). Wouldn’t recommend.

My expectations having read previous reviews were probably too high. Staff were very pleasant, rooms basic and beds very low, definitely a skiing hotel, was clean but a couple of issues. The breakfast was plentiful both cooked and continental, Evening meals were very basic and uninteresting not well cooked in fact better for us to eat out in daytime although on a breakfast evening meal basis. The hotel was up the mountain quite a way from the village shops and a very long walk.

Ich würde dem Hotel keine 4, eher aber 3 Sterne geben. Unser Comfort-Zimmer war gross und geräumig mit schönem Ausblick auf den Sonnenberg, ist schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Die Badarmaturen fallen oftmals weg. Die Zimmer werden allerdings immer sauber hergerichtet. Obwohl keine Handtücher auf den Boden zum Wechseln gelegt wurden, wurden sie täglich komplett ausgewechselt. Es ist eine grosse Hotelanlage und Busgesellschaften bringen oft bis zu 400 neue Gäste für ein paar Tage an. Dann gibt jeweils beim Frühstücksbuffet besonders an den Kaffeemaschinen und am Salatbuffet am Abend grössere und längere Staus. Als Individualgast hat man dann das Nachsehen. Wurst und Käseplatten werden aber ständig nachgefüllt. Die Brötchen sind allerdings morgens um 8 Uhr nicht frisch gebacken oder aufgebacken sondern scheinen vom Vortag zu sein. Müslibuffet reichhaltig. Salatbuffet ist allerdings recht abwechslungsreich und lecker. Sollte am Abend mal beim Essen ein bisschen Salatsauce auf dem Tischtuch verkleckert sein, so ist dies auch noch am nächsten Morgen beim Frühstück noch so. Gewechselt wird dann das Tischtuch nicht, erst wieder zum Nachtessen ! Ein No-Go für ein 4 Sterne Hotel. Das Essen war eher durchschnittlich 3 Sterne, auf jeden Fall keine 4 Sterne. Kellner und Servierpersonal sehr freundlich und flink. Schöne neue und moderne Sauna- und Wellnessanlage, die im September 2024 noch halbwegs im Testbetrieb war. Fitnessraum ist nicht gross und hat wenig Geräte. Unverständlich, dass man für die Benutzung des Bademantels, der Handtücher und einer Badetasche eine Leihgebühr von € 10 Euro pro Person bezahlen muss. Die Badelatschen waren allerdings gratis. Parkplätze sind reichlich vorhanden. Das W-Lan war allerdings nicht immer gut verfügbar.
