Motel 6 Willows, CA

This establishment has, obviously been renovated recently and they did a very good job. All new furniture and nicely painted Pot lights, plenty of plug 🔌 receptacles, I was at another location in and only ONE plugin For a 2Star, roadside Motel. This place was excellent. Extremely clean, lots of room, friendly staff. Simple check in 😳 #1- very efficiently, and spotless. No shady characters in the parking lot or street, unfortunately it is a sign of the times, 2024 🤔

I booked this hotel for an overnight stay on a trip back from Oregon to Central California. It was a great place to stop. As other reviewers noted, the room was very clean and the bed was comfortable. Surprisingly, for its location near Highway 5 and a busy intersection, it was very quiet during the night, something I really appreciated. There are two restaurants right next door, and an AM/PM on the corner. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

Adequate, what Motel 6 should be. Room was larger than expected. A little old feeling but have stayed here twice now. Didn't see any tweakers, the Motel 6s off Hwy 5 farther away from population centers seem to be better generally.

I have stayed at Motel 6’s in the past, so expected a no frills, clean place to sleep while visiting family. I literally checked in for 2 nights, went to the room and noticed a heavy musty smell. The condition of the building is poor and the pool is filled in with dirt. So, I decided with my asthma that this would not be a safe place for me to sleep. Went back down to the office to cancel the reservation and explained my reason and she said I could only be refunded for one night. I had booked it with ********** but paid in person, so I left and called **********. They advised me that I was entitled a full refund. 15 days later and I have still not received the complete refund! I have called and tried to work through ********** but they keep getting the run a round from this Motel 6! I wouldn’t have even left a poor review because everyone’s opinion is different when it comes to the condition of cheaper motels, however when you aren’t treated fairly… that speaks volumes! Do yourself a favor and just stay across the street at the Holiday Inn Express! They were fabulous!!

Home-town owners, not some out of area owner. Owner has been in the area 30 years. Fantastic personalities of all staff and couldn't ask for more helpful, personable, and kind people to assist!
