Rowhill Grange Hotel & Utopia Spa

Loved every moment. The staff were so friendly and welcoming wherever you went in the hotel. The spa facilities were lovely, me and my partner were just in awe with everything and we felt very relaxed. I know people on here were complaining about how dim it is in there, but we really liked it and thought it added to the atmosphere. I can’t fault anything within the hotel, even our food in the RG Restaurant was fab. Thank you for making our weekend perfect for us!

Rowhill Grange - Business Networking Event We hosted a business networking event at Rowhill Grange Hotel, and it was an absolute pleasure! The premises were spotless, with beautifully manicured gardens that added a touch of tranquility to the day. The facilities, including the restrooms, were pristine and well-maintained. The pastries were not only delicious but also plentiful—perfect for keeping everyone energized. The staffing team (Becky Bell) were incredibly welcoming and friendly, always on hand to assist with a smile. In July i had my wedding at Rowhill grange. The staff were amazing. A very special thank you to Becky Bell for all the help in organising and making this day special given that this was a traditional Sri Lankan wedding. The whole event proceeded seamlessly thanks to the effort of the staff. The venue it self was stunning. Thank you for helping to our day special

Stayed here for 2 nights recently as a present to my wife for us to get away. Let's start with the good stuff: - Spa facilities are amazing, really beautiful - can get a little busy but still lovely environment. - Rooms are nice and spacious, bathrooms clean and well equipped. - Grounds are beautiful and peaceful, lots of space. - Breakfast really nice in a nice setting. - Treatments are fantastic - staff in this area especially are wonderful. Things that can be improved (story at the bottom): - Staff whilst friendly don't seem to acknowledge when errors are made. - Clear communication issues between staff. - The rooms don't have air conditioning so in the summer can get very hot. - High price point. During our stay both our nights were interrupted, the first by work (like hard banging on pipework) at 5am. We raised the issue and this eventually stopped, we were told a manager would speak to us but we had to chase this throughout the day - to then be told by the Manager they didn't know anyone wanted to speak to them, eventually we were given 50% off one of our nights. We were initially told they do this work every night and it's important to allow them to prepare breakfast so I'd prepare for that. The second night was interrupted by an extremely loud disagreement taking place for 2 hours between 1 and 3 am. We were so fed up from the first night sleep being disturbed and the chasing we'd had to do that we just didn't bother raising it this time onsite.

Lovely stay on a Saturday night. Everyone was lovely, so helpful and polite. The barman who served us drinks wasn’t so helpful and looked like he was having a bad day, or just didn’t want to be there. The spa was lovely, room was really nice. Yes it needs some renovation works, but was a lovely way overall and just what we needed

The staff at Rowhill are amazing. I honestly cannot fault them, nothing is too much. The food at the restaurant is incredible, amazing quality and innovative. However the hotel has seen better days. I have been coming here for 13 years and I don’t think it’s been updated in that time. There is chipped and peeling paint not only in the hotel but also in the spa, as well as some of the spa pool features not working. The carpets particularly on the first floor are some of the most disgusting I have seen, looking matted with ground in dirt. Our room also had dirty carpets as well as mould round the windows. Definitely not what you expect for a hotel that claims to be luxury and charges as such. A mix up with the booking of our treatments meant we opted to cancel them rather than one of us miss out which was a shame but these things happen. The app that allows you to order food is a good idea but rather slow and a little confusing and not user friendly when ordering breakfast. Sadly I think we maybe looking elsewhere for our next spa break, however I am sure with some updating and redecoration this place could be returned to its former glory.

We had afternoon tea for our wedding party. The room was set up very nicely, the staff were so happy and helpful. Nothing was too much for them. The grounds are so beautiful for photos and a nice little walk. The afternoon ran so smoothly. Thank you for your amazing hospitality

Myself and my friend had an overnight spa at the weekend, it was fabulous and thoroughly recommended, we stayed in a mini suite and the room was delightful. All the staff are friendly and welcoming, this is our favourite spa which i have been frequenting for the past 26 years, Have tried other spas but we always come back to Rowhill there is something magical about this spa, and the treatments are all way good.

Visited the spa at rowhill grange with my mum for a twilight spa,treatment and dinner. the spa is in need of an update! The spa was very dirty and not well looked after, and I definitely wouldn’t be able to spend more than 2 hours in the spa. The dinner however was even worse- we both ordered the calamari and it arrived uncooked and when we asked kindly for them to cook it again for us they became moody and didn’t apologise and didn’t engage with us for the rest of the meal. We have both said it’s the worst dish we have ever eaten in a restaurant. Spa staff were lovely it was just the restaurant and bar staff that were very rude. Will not be visiting again, please visit somewhere else if you are after a lovely relaxing and friendly experience!
